Livestreaming your DJI Osmo pocket 3 is a bad idea 👎
Here’s why…
The weakest part of the livestream chain from osmo pocket 3 to smartphone via mimo app is the WiFi connection…
in a unknown environment your livestream is vulnerable to wifi interference from orher people…
its gets progressively worst as other people in the vicinity use smartphones with WiFi hotspots permanently turned on for their friends and family…
Or business and residential areas leaving a constant wall of radiation in the airwaves…
Its is very likely this interference will effect the data link between phone and osmo camera…
The only way the livestream on the osmo pocket 3 will work is a wired connection to the SIM card and a 4G signal to the cellular tower…
This is why i recommend a yolobox mini connection to the pocket 3 by USB cable and a SIM card on the yolobox for a good partnership of livestreaming in real lif situations… as tested by myself in the city of Hong Kong...
