problem is that the Senate is allowed to get tones of benefits and a monthly sallery that 90% of Americans can only DREAM of having."we the people" never gave them that right they gave it to THEMSELVS" in our name.If we could make it illegal to get donations and every senator has to use a stipend of 400 000 dolars of SELF EARNED money to get elected/re-elected and their salery be that of the common man not of the lowest rich persons budget we would see a LOT of change.Also make it so House and Senate have a MANDATORY 2 terms AT MOST per representative and NO MORE!

@@zeelfarshmek111 agreed. The two major things to get good candidates that want to work for their constituents is term limits, and publicly funded elections. As long as the rich and corporations can buy candidates, congress will never work for the people. As for term limits, the old saying applies. Diapers and politicians need to be changed often, and for the same reason.

I don't even think he could even imagine being in our shoes. All that money he and other rich members have can't even allow them to see our struggles. They need their accounts frozen, help from their friends denied, and place them in their home state, in the lowest income areas, given a job at the Federal Minimum Wage of 7.25 an hour, and expected to pay bills, pay rent, pay food, on that, while the hours given to them, are at 14 hours a week. They wouldn't last 2 weeks, and they be right back at senate, voting for these bills that Democrats bring up.

This literally tortures me every day. His approval level is extremely low in KY. I believe it's because of who the Democrats ran against him. McGrath was not a good candidate, she is a typical corporate Dem that doesn't inspire. The primary was very close and she barely won. If Booker had won, I believe he would have beaten McConnell because he was a populist similar to Bernie Sanders and that's what inspires KY to vote. McGrath squeaking by depressed the vote. The Dems would rather lose than give leftists another ally in office.
