Killing people is inconsistent. Also, I can’t hear enemy footsteps what I hear is my footsteps. If they could fix those two things and put in a traditional multiplayer where 100 kills for a team wins the game would be excellent.

Tim something I’ve noticed with halo and xdefiant is shorter seasons with more cosmetic rewards than random bs that cod has in theirs. Shorter seasons allows for more frequent updates and cosmetics and possible new modes and weapons

@@cspowers82They need more game modes. I’m having fun now ranking up all the guns, but i can see it getting stale real quick without some updates. I don’t know how close they can get to cod without copyright issues but there’s a few things you need for a cod style MP to work. Killstreaks, some sort of a prestige system and a no-respawn mode like snd are a few things i’m really missing atm.

after level 25 you will get paired up with closer leveled players. 'according to the game there is skill based matchmaking' READ the description on the Welcome Playlist

It’s not SBMM it says it tries to match people due to latency so whoever’s closest and you can toggle crossplay and can toggle input so mnk can play against just mnk if they want. Pretty cool but not SBMM

Xdefiant dosent NEED a battle Royal!! Would a Xdefiant be a dope "apex like" battle royal.. But I dont think the battle royal should take away from the core game..so IF they did it should be a buy in of 40 or 30.. It be a easy fix take arena shooters back to the doom days cause that all Battle Royals is just that larger!!

This game made me wanna play BO3 and I did. BO3 feels much better in shooting and in movement as well in my opinion. The game is 9 years old... Current CoD games are way more developed. So a game like XDefiant in 2024 feels oudated. Shooting feels like a mobile game, movement is really not that great and the animations are underwhelming. I get that its free, but still, it feels like a low budget game.
