I’m from New York, and where I was it was cloudy. I was disappointed. I got to see some of it for a minute or two, but then the clouds covered it back up again. It still was an amazing experience and truly once in a lifetime 🌘

When it’s time for totally , i bowed down and prayed because , it’s one in a lifetime get to see witness such a beautiful thing on earth. And I won’t be here for the next 75 years later. 🙏🙏🙏.

Armchair eclipse chaser here!I' m disabled and live on the west coast( CP).But if I were able bodied and had the kind of money I WOULD be going allover the world following eclipses,I JUST LOVE eclipses!!!!I'm sooooo jJEALOUS of that 105 year old amateur astronomer who has seen 13 eclipses.That little skumper!!!!

I watched this yesterday. The eclipse over Dallas segment... 1:41:43 I personally was losing my mind as those kids - their first eclipse ever - were making pinhole projectors on the table WHILE the sun was in 100% totality! I just wanted them to drop everything and take in the amazing sight above them!! Then they get interviewed by the woman Doctor, who also never experienced an eclipse. I'm sitting there watching...and mumbling "LOOK UP!!" They finally did...with the special mylar glasses, but totality it was over! Good coverage, still mindblowing how darker and darker it gets, surreal. Pitch black, suddenly back to a sunrise look. Amazing.

Great coverage! Saw it yesterday, partial...and partially - under a blanket of clouds that rolled into Philadelphia yesterday...the timing of that was seriously a kick in the head. Clear all morning early afternoon....UNTIL 10 min before it started at 2:08!! Missed the first 30-35 minutes of this, couldnt see it. Then bits a pieces briefly. Did see the peak 90% at 3:23, but after that more thick clouds obscured it. Oh, and it finally cleared up 5-10 minutes AFTER the event was completed. Never fails in this area!

I watched the real thing and although it was too cloudy at the best point, I'm never getting a chance like that again. It's been incredibly memorable.

Clouds came at 3:40 from where we stood in north Jersey. We had clear views and were there at 2pm to see the whole duration. We had glasses taped to our phone lens but those cameras weren't good. I enjoyed it! And running out of work early felt great too! 🕶😎🌒👌

I WATCHED IT WITH MY SERVICE PUP WHO I PUT THE GLASSES ON AND PUT HIM BACK IN THE CAR TOOK SOME PICTURES AND TOOK HIM BACK OUT DURING TOTALITY. I DIDNT KNOW I COULD LOOK AT IT WITHOUT MY GLASSES BUT THEY FELL OFF AT THAT EXACY MOMENT THEN THATS WHEN I LOOKED AT IT DIRECTLY AND REALIZED I COULD LOOK DIRECTLY AT IT WITH MY NAKED EYES SO I TOOK MY PUP OUT OF THE CAR IN THE SHADE AND SHOWED IT TO HIM IN MY ARMS AND JE WAS ABSOLUTELY CAPTURED BY IT. AT THE EXACT MOMENT OF TOTALITY WHEN MY GLASSESFELL OFF A TURKEY VULTURE FELL OUT OF THE SHY INTO MY PINE TREE AND BARELY GRABBED AHOLD OF A BRANCH FEL DOWN A BRANCH OR 2 AND STAYED THERE TILL SUN CAME BACK OUT AND ONLY THEN FLEW AWAY, IT WAS JUST AN AMAZIBG MOMENT

Somebody said the wrong thing some guy here said that everybody was changing their normal routine today because of the eclipse well that is true maybe some people but you can’t say I did not change my normal routine because of eclipse once you seen it you saw it you don’t really need to see it again. Yes it’s beautiful but if you saw it, a lot of things are beautiful and you don’t need to see him over and over again once you seen him the fade disappears a lot of people like me, so I did my normal routine routine because it wasn’t on if it was on, I could care less about the eclipse they should’ve never took it off or something so silly is that once you seen it and if you really wanna see it, you need to go look outside. It doesn’t show good enough on TV anyway so the whole thing is very silly.
