About the Best of Both Worlds Scrapbooking Kit:
Best of Both Worlds is not a subscription kit, but rather a kit assembled for each month that you gives you the freedom to order it through an affiliate link, use the shopping list to shop locally if you are lucky enough to have a local scrapbook store (please support them if you do!), or to shop your stash for similar items and make your own kit.
You're not tied into any subscription. You don't have to buy anything you know you won't use or duplicate anything you already own. I so appreciate the extra thought and detail that you put into your collections. The different versions of woodgrain, the repeated patterns in the tone on tone B sides, the way the 3x4 cut-aparts are grouped together, the way the specialty paper coordinates with the rainbow paper - these are little things that add so much value.

Awesome colours "wink" and selections!!! Ordered mine today. An easy way to peel the washie tape is to use a pokie tool. Sometimes I leave the backing on so it shows better. All those papers give a resting place for photos and so many layers! with out the bulk. Have fun exploring its greatness! Also having two of each helps with double page layouts. The colors or colours bring it all together. I've used Vicki B's paperie for a couple of her 6x8 books. You'll love them!

Had to dash for the nursery run & catch the end later, but just wanted to say thank you for this beautiful collection Shimelle! :) I especially love that it has stuff for the difficult days, as you said - I've so far tried to take photos of the difficult days with my little one, because I think they're just as important as the good, & this collection will help me document them!

I have been taking sleeping pictures of my kiddo since she was born. She always sleeps in the weirdest positions and has funny facial expressions. 😂 I can use the pillow and blanket paper for that! So excited.

Love your collection! I was thinking about the parameters they set for you as far as a jumping off point and I have noticed that in the brick and mortar stores they’re gearing “scrapbook” supplies more towards people who will use them for things besides scrapbooking.

I really appreciate the fact that you don’t use words like colour and favourite in your collections. It really annoys me when other designers do because I then either can’t use the embellishment etc, have to find a way to cover the offending word up or just throw it away. I guess at least for favourite “fav” would work for both, but some people don’t like that abbreviation lol
