Lauren. Hannah Gutierrezs’ job was to ensure no live rounds were in her possession. SHE said it was a “cold” gun. It was responsibility to check gun to ensure it was a “cold” gun. ALEC’s job was to act. During Ms. Gutierrezs’ trial, it was revealed there were texts between prop person and ammunition supplier. Law enforcement did not search his business til a month later. Giving him plenty of time to ensure no live rounds were found in his possession. There were multiple people who were responsible, but Ms. Gutierrez was the most negligent of all.

I agree it was the job of others to check the gun but I would only trust myself to check the gun when using a real gun that could kill someone if others did not do their job properly. To many variables to not take a quick check yourself. I would respect him and see his point if he would have shown remorse and said he should have checked the gun himself.

There is a reason that anyone who handles guns must complete a safety course, and the number one reason is that YOU NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANYONE ORE ANYTHING THAT YOU DON'T INTEND TO SHOOT. A 12 year old is capable of grasping that.Dumb is not an excuse killing someone.

@@debbiefreeman9481there are lots of ways to get a certain shot without actually pointing directly at someone. And there was no reason for Alec to have cocked the hammer or have his finger on the trigger. Hannah was reckless and shouldn’t ever be around guns. But Alec knew better from handling guns for years and failed in 3 ways. If he pointed without cocking the hammer, Halyna and Joel wouldn’t have been shot. I don't think that works for a criminal case, it's not illegal to point a gun at someone. It was a pretend, controlled world like Disneyland cars are to us. Someone else checks safety. If I point the steering wheel at someone and it goes off track and kills them, I'm not criminally negligent just because I turned the steering wheel towards them. People could say 'You don't steer cars toward people! Everyone knows that! ' True! But there's a mediator that makes the car a prop/toy, and that removes my accountability to treat it like it's real, even tho it has an engine, wheels, tires, steering wheel. Disneyland was hired to make this a non real set for me. Hannah was hired so Alec could be in character, and play out a scene for a movie that isn't real. Hannah was hired to make the gun a prop/toy, not real. Look at Alec's face as he pulls out the gun, he's fully in character, and not Alec. He's in a movie set, and it's not real.

I know it’s off topic but recently there was a nurse in the Qeuh who a accidentally administered the wrong medication ( for a syringe driver 30 mil syringe made up with alfentanyl to be given over 24hours then there was another 20 ml syringe made up of Iv amoxicillin given over 5 min) the nurse picked up what he thought was the Amoxicillin and killed the patient instantly 🥲🥲🥲💔💔💔horrendous for patient, loved ones and also for the nurse, I and all my nursing colleagues honestly felt and still feel ill thinking about this as with staffing shortages at a ridiculously low we all could understand how this horrendous drug error was made, the poor nurse apparently has attempted suicide ( I’d be the same tbh as to live knowing I’ve taken another’s life would be to unbearable) he’s at the moment going through court proceedings of being charged with manslaughter, staffing numbers still remain ridiculously unsafe so this type of error is bound to happen again, the pressure is awful, I feel for all involved in this case as to have to live with the awful consequences of this must be a living nightmare, tbh I haven’t followed the case partly because it feels to close to the bone knowing how awful I feel for the nurse and the poor family suffering the horrendous loss 💔💔💔

A nurse is the last clear chance to avoid a medication disaster and is held as culpable as a pharmacist who dispensed the wrong med, or a doctor who wrote the wrong prescription. No excuses. @@jeaniechampagne8831……if I get in a car and drive drunk and I kill someone, I’m not meaning to do it. I would still be guilty of manslaughter. If I’m not drunk but driving 100mph in a 35 mph zone and someone steps off the curb and I hit them, I’m reckless but I’m not trying to kill anyone. It’s still reckless or manslaughter. If I swerve my car and hit someone on purpose, that’s murder. No one is saying Baldwin was trying to kill anyone. He wasn’t but he had an unsafe environment and he pointed a gun at someone and pulled the trigger. Now, that person is dead. You never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. Even on movie sets you are to aim to the side of the person. Alec was reckless. It’s sad but he can’t get a pass because he was good in Beetlejuice or something.

My theory about the live rounds is that Seth Kenny could not provide enough ammunition for the shoot. It's pure conjecture on my part, but it's the only thing that makes sense.
@ErinAbou

I think this as well. They didn’t have enough dummies and she was trying to make her own. I do believe the real bullets got mixed with blanks or dummies. They had a terrible, unsafe situation and that was not entirely of Hannah’s making. Seth and Sarah should also have been charged in my opinion.

@@AtalinayI don’t think it was ever verified, but I still believe it’s likely that the crew and maybe even cast members (not Baldwin, not saying he did this) may have shot rounds. I felt all along since the shooting incident occurred that much was being covered up at the scene before the police arrived for example, as they never truly secured the scene. I think from the early hours or days, it was believed to have been an accidental shooting incident. I think police (unintentionally) mismanaged the scene and most likely mishandled evidence, and now we know that the prosecution did also, because they were covering up evidence or potentially damaging evidence to their prosecution of Baldwin. I think it could have been an attempt to make sure they had the conviction at least of Hannah Gutierrez Reed. While I think it likely she was guilty of being a negligent person on the set, I feel her defense does need to seek to have her case dismissed too. The prosecution and the police messed up big time by hiding information and evidence, regardless of their reasoning. Just my opinions, of course! The best remedy for Halyna Hutchins and her family, is most likely financial and to protect her own legacy in filmmaking. The family deserves that much. I do believe it was an entirely preventable accident and not done with malicious intent.

Also.. if as an actor I have to check all the props… the gun… why do I need an armorer? That’s why you have experts in their field to be a part of the production… yea Baldwin is being humbled.. which is good and needed I feel… but I don’t think he’s guilty of the charge. I think the guilty parties have been charged and punished

It was Alex who in the set was to pull the trigger, HE DIDNT KNOW THAT They WERE loaded, the one who was suppose to know and keep the set safe did not do their job! Why on earth would Alex wanna kill this person?! And what a stupid place to do it, in front of many people?!?! Where did these live bullets come from?! Is the question!!

I agree with Lauren, sure Alec pulled the trigger, but imo, it's his job to act and pull the trigger is part of it, it's the armorer job to make sure the gun is safe to be use as a prop.

It doesn't matter where the live round came from. What matters is anyone handling a firearm on set is supposed to check it for safety reasons. Also, firearm safety 101. You never point a firearm at anyone unless you intend to use it.

The police should have called the FBI in if they couldn't figure out the original source of the live rounds. It appears that they found some in the warehouse but then how did they get into the warehouse? I think the police should be on trial as well. After all, they failed to do their jobs and that leaves the next customers using the dummy rounds susceptible to having the same thing happen on their movie or TV set.

It’s always been a big point for me how the live round got in there. “But for” the live ammo being in there, the accident would not have happened. Big blank spot (no pun intended) in the chain of events.

Someone on LYK’s live stream made a good point which was if the scene called for him to point the gun at his own head and pull the trigger, would he have double, triple, quadruple checked the gun? Based on the fact that his narcissism is off the charts I’m going to say yes.

@Atalinay
@Atalinay 20 күн бұрын
Blank rounds at that close range could cause serious harm. The gun was announced cold and was expected to have dummies not blanks. (Dummies don't have gunpowder, many make a rattle or have a hole on the side)
