Equiped powerlifting seems so rediculous and I think it's hurting the overall image of the sport, it's such a joke

I guess I don't understand why you would use a squat suit and knee wraps. Just take weight off and squat with only a belt.

Not sure if this is a troll comment, but do you realize that powerlifting is about lifting the most amount of weight in the three lifts within the rules of the competition? This is an equipped event, so using a squat suit and wraps could allow you to lift more weight.

That is done in Classic Powerlifting competition and this is Equipped
