I have just finished my course of treatment with ClearChoice. I have zirconium all on four bridges now. Overall, I am very happy I did it. But, there were good, bad, and ugly parts of the process. While you can walk out the same day with acrylic teeth that look very good, there is a four month period after the surgical appointment where your implants have to heal and you are in “temps” that are weak and break easily. Mine broke twice being VERY careful with them. From others I have talked with that had them, 2 times is about average during this time. When it happens, you know immediately. It isn’t painful, but it might put you on a liquid diet until you can get an appointment to go in for repair. The first time mine broke, I was out of town just before a holiday. Most centers take the same week-long annual holiday at the same time. So, it was just bad luck for me that I waited about 7 days with no functioning teeth to get them fixed. They broke while I was eating cheese enchiladas in the 3rd month of healing. In the 4th month, they broke again. It was a couple of days before I could get in. The repairs were simple and onsite, and no pain was involved. The customer care experience was extremely hit-or-miss. Before the operation, they are very much available all the time to you. You will have to pre-pay the entire course of treatment before the first clinical visit starts. So, be ready to come up with anywhere from 30K to 60K in one lump sum up front. The price varies based on if you want uppers and lowers, zirconium or acrylic, and how much bone grafting would be necessary (if any). Mine cost $55K for uppers and lowers, zirconium, no bone grafting. The good news is, the price is fixed in advance. If they find out it’s more work than they thought at first after you have paid, that’s on them. Repairs for breakage of temps? Included. It really is a one price for everything. No insurance, no paperwork, no copay, no deductible, nothing. After you have your surgery, the level of customer service drops off. They are very busy, and they pack appointments like airlines. If you miss an appointment FOR ANY REASON, it may be 3 or more months before you can get another. My appointment to measure for my finals was missed because I had a water pipe break in my home the morning I was supposed to go in. That set my finals back by 4 months. Also, though they told me everything was done in-house, it was not. The zirconium finals were made in an external lab and that took 5 weeks. All total, there was the initial consult, the work up day where I had to pay the full amount, the surgery day and temp fitting (now I had my temp smile), two appointments to repair the temps, an appointment to measure for my finals, and another to fit my finals. The whole ordeal took about 8 months. All the marketing focuses on the surgical/temp day, but there is a lot more to it than that. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would I go with ClearChoice? Yeah. Is the price ridiculous? Absolutely. But, it has fundamentally changed by life for the better.

This Thursday will be 2 weeks after my surgery and I can say with certainty that I was heard, respected, welcomed with compassion, and have been continuously taken care of. Being 25 and choosing to do full implants was both shame prone and a dream come true. With my genetics and how my teeth were I would have spent the majority of the prime of my life having 1-2 dental procedures a year to get my mouth in working order. However, with Clear Choice I was finally heard, they recognized I had spent years researching and looking at options, and now I get to spend the prime of my time and so on with a smile I had say over with design!

tq for replying. i had a cracked lower 1st molar and now there's a big gap and lost my chewing. after a week to this day i'm in depress, anxiety and wanted my tooth back and the closest option is implants. but i'm afraid of the failure and pain comments in youtube. before u did implants did u have anxiety or reading comments on yt or research for months. how do you proceed with bravery and positivity? tq and sorry for my english. i'm from malaysia and having deep life crysis 😩
