It feels like yesterday, I was 25 and and felt that time would never knock on my door, My Idols were below 40, Now they are almost 60 and Im going towards 40, some are dead, Im sounding like my father talking about the 70's, Wish I could hold the time for longer, This feeling hurts sometimes but everybody goes to the same process, Nostalgia kicks in and all we have left is the good memories to cherish

Same... I just turned 40. I was 25 in 2003... Really do wish I could go back and replay that era of my life. Made far too many mistakes around then, and killed a few "once in a lifetime" opportunities.

@@robertmurry1442 Not fair to blame them at all. They all relapsed on the second album. Interesting interview with Soren who is open about not really liking Scott to much but refuses to rubbish him as a man or his untimely demise, it’s a class interview. But the sad truth is statistically you put 4 addicts in a room and their not all getting out alive. A far superior band but a similar story is the Alice in Chains story, two alive, two dead. Addictions a bastard

Always come back, and always listen to the bridge that starts about 2:18 and is actually drum led until Slash's guitar goes vertical and you know what's coming. Truly a "supergroup" line-up that all knew their part and didn't overstep but were pros.

I saw Velvet Revolver that same year! I also caught them live a second time on their Libertad tour in 2007. Scott Weiland was already my favourite singer and frontman from his days in STP and I loved GNR so I remember getting really excited for Velvet Revolver when all the news came out about them forming! Poor Scott was an extremely gifted artist who unfortunately couldn’t shake his demons. I followed his career right to the end. I’ll always miss that guy.

I saw them twice. Once at the Pacific amphitheatre in OC. And the one show I saw them at was Gibson amphitheatre Alice in chains opened up for Velvet revolver & I remember reading a big wall with texts going up and down from people in the audience etc.. the comments were Stone Temple pilots were going to be getting back together which I had a feeling at that point. In which I saw the original members of STP at the Hollywood bowl one of the best shows I've ever seen. I do like guns n roses and rest in peace Scott weiland. This is truly a great song!!
