Finally, we had time to edit a new video 👏🏼👏🏼In this episode you will see a scary moment on our journey. On the way to Merzouga in Marrocco, we got surprised by a tunnel that was built by hand and was 3,5m high according to a road sign. A turnaround at this point would have cost us a lot of kilometers and time. What we decided, did we scratch our truck? See all this in the new video... 😉
We also had time to document while we went for groceries in a Moroccan supermarket. We also went to our first African campground and you will meet Mustafa the nicest guy ever! We hope you will enjoy this video...

The flicker you got on your video in the grocery store is because of the fluorescent lights. Depending on what part of the world you are in they either us 50hz or 60hz electricity. To get around this problem you have to match your frame rate with the frequency of the lights you are in. You need to shoot at frame rates that are divisible by the number of light pulses. So, in a 60 Hz AC area, you’ll need to shoot at 30, 60 or 120 fps. Morocco is 50hz, so you need to set the frame rate on your Gopro to a rate divisible or multiplied by 50: 25 fps, 50 fps, 100 fps, etc. Hope this helps

Ich bin stehen geblieben und habe mit Messlatte gemessen er ist mind 4m hoch. Wir sind 3,75m hoch. In ganz Marokko nur 2 Tunnel erlebt, der zweite in Casablanca ist wirklich nur 3,6m 😅 Tunnel und Überführungen wären auch sehr “ungünstig” bei LKW’s die tlw über 5m hoch bepackt sind. 😂

We do have one! The new Mavic 3, but in Morocco is ilegal to fly them. You can go to jail if you are got use them… This is the reason those episodes does not have drone flights… 😔 So many places we had the feeling that a drone would have been amazing but it was too risky… 😬😞

I am very impressed how large your ground clearance of you truck in the mid is , very often diesel tanks or bigger ladder installations rob the space, where did you let build your truck? Greetings from good old Germany.

Flickering lights don't you have a setting for that. On my Sony I believe I have a setting for that.
