The first hour showed why we were almost champions. The last half an hour showed why we aren’t going to be. But a positive result some lovely goals. Nice weather. Cant complain.

Good today for Liverpool FC. As Liverpool Women 1-0 Man Utd Women. A double win against Man Utd Women. Now fourth place now. Also, LFC under 21 won as well WOW Elliott goal.

We took our foot off the peddle far too early. If Spurs had scored their first ten minutes earlier we'd have been lucky to have got away with a draw, Richarleson and Son terrorised our make shift defence at the end and Nunez did his usual trick of cocking up a hatrick of chances. Basically summed up the season in one game.

@@benphilips7235 if you don't want goals scored in big games, keep him. If you want record chances wasted, keep him. If you want record numbers of woodwork shots, keep him. If you want record numbers of offsides against, keep him. If you want record numbers of shots hitting the keeper, keep him. If you want record numbers of wry smiles after ballooning the ball from 5 yds out, then keep him.

Despite continuing to make a load of opportunities Darwin looks shot of confidence and probably needs the summer break badly, he's his own worst enemy at the moment (aside from the numpties giving him hateful grief online, they're far worse tbf). That's 2 seasons of considerably underperforming xG in the PL, I wonder what Edwards and his dispassionate nerds are going to do with that sample set.
