Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp says Arne Slot's potential appointment 'really good' for club

Jurgen Klopp has praised the quality of Arne Slot's football, adding his potential appointment is "really good" for Liverpool.
Liverpool are in talks with Feyenoord to appoint the 45-year-old, who revealed on Thursday he is "confident" of moving to Anfield.
Slot has impressed in the Netherlands, winning the Eredivisie last season and the KNVB Cup earlier this month, and looks set to replace Klopp, who is leaving at the end of the season after nine years with Liverpool.

Klopp the best manager Pep Guardiola has faced. Without him City would have 6 titles in a row and potentially even 7. Arne Slot just needs to maintain top4 to start and build from there. He has a good enough team to do that. Ignore any cups because people belittle the fa cup and carabao cup as small trophies so all they do is waste the player’s energy when it’s the business end of the season

Klopp is the best manager I've seen at the club in my over 30 years as a supporter. I doubt he'll be eclipsed in my lifetime. As for arne slot. I don't know much about him to be honest. He sounds great. But then again, ten hag sounded great too before he joined utd. I wish him nothing but welcoming arms and success. But I'm worried we're about to nose dive after klopp leaves. No guarantee Alonso would have won anything. Football is a fickle game. One week, you're flavour of the month, and then a while later, things can change drastically. I'm optimistic about Arne. I think he's got something about him, and it was a given that the next manager was going to be a downgrade in achievements and standing. Even if it was Alonso or Amorim, they're still a downgrade, too.
