Is Stefan Bjatetic going to be ready to start playing this season or is he still growing or whatever they say ?? As I think he’ll be great this season especially if we play a double pivot, but I’d rather we have someone a bit younger than Endo as the 2 regular and Endo as cover

I can’t see us breaking our ancient wage structure we are a top tier club, but we WANT TO KEEP PAYING LOW TIER WAGES TO THESE PLAYERS THAT WILL GET IT AT NEARLY ALL OF THE AVERAGE TOP 10 clubs so why can’t we go forward and genuinely contest for everything we enter , the only thing that I don’t think they’ll offer Williams his wages is 1. Not wrong Craig. If the lad genuinely wants to sign for the Pool. It could be financed. For example. Fees for selling Rhys and Nat would cover his wages for a couple of years and we wouldn’t even feel it.

Let’s not be silly! We’re already in the top 3 for money spent on wages! So we’d be stupid to then break the wage structure! For a lad that isn’t proven!…There’d be no coming back then! Look at what arsenal spend on their wages and compare it to ours! We spend a hell of a lot more!

were fith in the league behind arsenal chelsea city and united in wages so not sure where you got that from, the gap between liverpool in 5th and city in 1st is 1.2 million a week.......so yeah were miles off it, and you cant argue against what the guy is saying here, man united and arsenal have been out the top team conversation for a decade and still spend more on transfers and wages. about time everybody stopped defending these owners, we had klopp at the helm and they didnt buy him a midfielder for 4 years before it all came crumbling down last summer whilst simultaneously handing out massive contracts to baseball players worth 330 million. everybody needs to taker their head out the sand.

People talking about wages, if he’s under contract he costs 100 mill plus, you can get him for 50 so the other 50 gets made up in wages, it’s just the modern way

Then in a few years when he wants a contract extension he'll want a raise (If he's not performing to warrant that, imagine the chaos of having a players on 300k+ a week in the team). Trent who see this will suddenly ask similar wages because of what he has accomplished. And finally when we try to recruit new players who are more proven and they see a kid who is the highest paid played in club history, they'll most likely decide they want to be paid the same. It's literally what happened at United.

Hmm rafeal leao on renewed last season 105 k euros a week and Williams 300 k.. I don't know about this Craig I really don't. What if he comes in and has a great season 🤔? Where would he wanting 2 seasons in 😅😂. Honestly tho at this rate anyone. I just want to see some ambition from FSG. Your completely right about using players we already have as if they were new signings because they were injured is far often used by the owners. The reality is all top 6 clubs are going to invest and try take a crack at the season no doubt.

Just don't see how he is all that good. Apart from the fact we wouldn't even pay 80 mil for a homegrown Bellingham. Won't pay over 50 mil for Gordon. Refused to continue discussing Summerville when Leeds when they started conversations at 60 mil. Calafiori is apparently too expensive at 43 mil roughly. Then how and why would we go out and bring in someone on high wages. Unless Slot is another Klopp esque miracke worker then we're screwed.

Left winger is the position on the pitch we need the least, we need a right winger. we do not need this guy and certainly not for 300K a week, i don't care. Gakpo deserves to play left wing next season. I'm teling you, if we buy Nico williams, not just Lucho has to be sold, you might as well sell Gakpo too. After the incredible euros Gakpo has had so far, Liverpool would do him dirty if they bought and started Nico Williams next season.
