Well, deep down, UEFA would have preferred English teams in the final. Only Spanish and English teams guarantee 600 million to 800 million viewers. The last time Liverpool reached the Europa League finals, the worldwide viewership was between 600 million and 850 million. Last year's final between Sevilla and Roma only attracted 60 million to 150 million viewers, and in the years when Germany had Frankfurt in the final, it was between 50 million and 120 million. Now, the Europa and Champions League finals are not popular in North America, Asia, Africa, India, and China. CBS has already decided to move the final to CBS 2. The English team is the biggest draw, without English teams UEFA will lose 80 to 150million in may. And I'm a Bayern supporter, Leverkusen beat us to the title this year. But it was plain sailing boring to the title, Leverkusen basically steam rolled everyone to the point nobody watched,. 😮

It's his own fault. I was appalled by that performance. How do we score after 7 mins then play the ball round the back for 83 mins when youre chasing a game. It's a disgrace. I don't watch liverpool to see two of my midfielders spend 90 percent of the game 2 yards away from the goalkeeper. If that's the football we are going to be playing, I'm glad he's leaving.

Klopp, aside from 2019 which was perhaps the worst final I have seen against one of the weakest teams to make it to a final, always bottle Europe. Repeatedly losing to Madrid will be his everlasting European legacy, and against other Spanish teams too, do people just forget the 2016 Europa League Final happened?

Been a great manager for Liverpool, probably their third best in my opinion, to keep them relatively competitive against that city side , taking the odd trophy off them , albeit catching up to us in the process (united fan) it’s been quite something and probably on the balance and story of football, quite right .

To be honest, it would have been nice for Klopp to sign off with a European trophy, but Liverpool as a club have no Europa ambitions, they belong in the champions league and used Europa to blood the academy and fringe players. Best of luck to Atalanta, if they can raise their game to that level in the semis they will go all the way, they defended and attacked brilliantly over two legs. They deserve their historic night. Klopp needs to get the mentality right now for the final games of the season, if he is such a great manager he needs to get his team selection and tactics right and his strikers need to put the ball in the net instead of embarrassing themselves time and time again, we have lost the title due to bad finishing in big moments and referees letting us down on a few occasions.. if we converted our chances as we should, we would’ve walked the premier league
