Everybody is happy when there is talk of your team selling millions of shirts which shows the power of your team and money to buy players. Never been into buying lfc shirts. Never felt the need to show my support for the team in that way. Price has been a big determinant in that. The £80 for the GAME shirt and £125 for MATCH shirt just makes me laugh. I could buy a suit, shirt, socks and shoes for £125. Hitachi Liverpool was the first English professional club to have a sponsor's logo on its shirts, after agreeing a deal with Hitachi in 1979. Looks like we started all this commercialism in football. Whatever happened to hitachi?

I remember when shirts were £40 in most placed and £35 in Sports Direct, who always had the best price. And this is only going back like 10-15 years ago. Madness. Can't see me shelling out that much at all, especially for a design so awful.

Tbh I usually ignore the kits and go subtle, choosing from the general clothing range so that, for example, a nice quality hoodie with a subtle logo on is enough for me and can be worn in more scenarios. The kits are stupid and can only be worn at the match.

To be fair - it's not pin-stripes on the shirt, the pattern is YNWA in large letters so will be near imposible to line up! Personally I'm not decided myself yet, will need to see it in person!! Up the REDS!

an abomination isn't the word. Luckily, the away shirt looks good, so I'm getting one. the shirt I bought in December in the shop outside Anfield cost £79.99 if I remember correctly. So if they cost 80 now, then that's the same.

This stadium fan kit and player kit is such a freaking scam and really not fair to have two different kits which are technically the same but if you pay more then the really already over priced kits then you can get a player version and not a stadium fan version. It’s absolutely disgusting they never did it in the past and now it’s common practice with clubs and this should be made illegal as you should only have one kit for each type. Just ridiculous how they get away with it and all to make the fans feel less associated to the club then ever by saying you are being poor to not get the original player kit version and you should pay the above £100 to get it. Then most fans will think I might as well get a fake Liverpool shirt made in Thailand for a 10th of the price then a stadium shirt as technically that’s just a really good fake as it’s not the player version. They say they want to stop fake shift sales and clamp down hard on that but if they keep these prices so high and then give you options to say buy really good fake for £100.

I loved the NB kit. And as with all my teams ... I only buy a shirt when they WIN the only trophies I care about (Champions League and Premier League). My other team is Toronto Maple Leafs (hockey) and needless to say I have never purchased a jersey :)

Give credit where credit is due to the club, its a nice kit, the collar ruins it (And the price as noone is paying that amount). Overall id say its a 7/10. -1 for the collar and -2 for the price
