Livescope Transducer Mount Improved

3 жыл бұрынThis is my DIY mount for Garmin Livescope. I took a pole off of a MinnKota Edge trolling motor and used a trailer jack to make a detachable mount for my livescope transducer. In this video I show you how I did it!

Nice DIY Solution.!!!!!! Thanks for sharing. I currently don't own any type of Livescope system. One day I may make one just for fun. I have a CNC machine and would probably incorporate some spring loaded snap pins for the rotation part of the Livescope Mount similar to the ones I utilized on my 2 X 72 Ultimate Grinder.

I am using a bicycle work bench stand. I think it will be awesome. Nice set up but looks to be kinda heavy. I tried a ram mount and not sturdy enough. Great idea though and thanks.

Yeah it’s heavier than some of them but that’s one thing I like about it. It stays where I put it. I’d like to see yours when you get it done

Seems like it would be really heavy ? Could way to use the old noggin for something besides a hat rack though fo sho. Lol

It’s not very heavy. It’s pretty easy to maneuver. I wanted it to be stable though, especially when traveling across the lake

I Could not live with that steer device. Look for a flexible drill extension, a la low pro or shut up and fish. Great idea, none the less.

The steering handle looks really low and unfriendly to use once I seen it in the water. Good idea tho.

Yeah it’s low. I use my foot to move it. I think it would be pretty easy to extend it if I decided to. Might be something to try
