Its been a bit since we had an auction day and it was a good one but before we get into that I will give you and update on the straight from the farm bottle calves. I got sick, real sick and was unable to give them proper care twice a day. A buddy came by and bought a few to fill his hutches and my wife was taking care of them after that. After awhile it was too much for her to handle ( City Girl Yuppy Type) and she had a local farmer come by and pick them up and care for them until I was able and he had issues and lost the last 5. It sucks it is how it goes at times. We will get another small batch and keep the work minimal. Now, back to the auction. I bought 2 started calves so I wouldn't have to bottle them and we will get them fat this winter and sell them in the spring. One heifer and one bull. The bull is a little knuckled over but I will work with him and he should come out of it. Hope Everyone is having a great week and I will update everyone on the giveaway. All the best - DJ
