Ah--HAAA!!!! That's definitely a predator!! And Sadie would be able to see them even if they are on the other side of the river, along the bank. Lester, take some binoculars down there and look across the river. She's already gotten wet because her feet and legs are muddy from the river water.

I love Sadie and miss seeing her in the videos. Maybe if you sit down there with her for awhile and take your rifle, you could eliminate the gator or other predators around. I know the predators, especially coyotes mate from Jan. thru March and are more aggressive towards your pets, especially dogs. Sadie can’t be just barking at nothing. She’s a guardian dog and sees something or smells them. Please do more investigating with her. Maybe spend more time going around your property to look for tracks of predators. You definitely don’t want the dogs or goats down there if there’s a big gator around. Wasn’t there a cougar or mountain lion in your area a while back that killed a horse. If your area is in his territory, he could have made it back. Maybe prowling around looking for a mate. Or it could be any type of animal. I was wondering if you have installed any trail cameras up where Sadie is at a lot. That might help. She looks so sad, maybe because no one is listening to her warnings. I pray you take heed and just be with her to see what’s going on. Maybe not so much time with the longhorns. They can pretty much take care of themselves. Sadie is your protector and guardian dog. Don’t just dismiss her as she is just annoying and needs to just be quite. Do your investigating as her owner, do your part to follow up on why she’s barking. Your too spread out Lester. Listen to your dogs warnings. If she gos down in the water and there’s a big gator waiting for her, then she’s a goner. It will happen so fast, you’ll wonder where she went and that would be so sad. Especially since your other dogs love to go down there and get into the river too. I’ve seen them do it, especially Trixie and Christmas. Good luck.

Me as well..I thought the banging was Uriel doing a project for Lester & Jami🤭 I found the ant-cam fascinating. All Lester’s videos contain interesting, funny, thought provoking & sometimes heart wrenching stuff…the purple ribbons got me all teared up😢

Shirly Bird has ALWAYS loved banging her horns against something ever since she started getting horns. Actually when she first got them she would get stuck in fence constantly, believe it was 3 times in 1 day. Then once her horns got bigger she started making music with them lol. Shirley Bird just loves making music with her horns. She got it from her daddy, Lester, bc he is always walking around with them singing while out working and sings to them so she wants to be like her daddy but since she can’t sing she loves playing the drums with her horns. It is crazy bc she has done it for so long now that anytime I hear banging I always know it’s our sweet girl Shirley Bird. ❤ her so much!

She was found in the river with a rock tied to her, keeping her weighted down. Her pants were found on the edge of the river. It’s a horrible situation.

​@@marytisdale1861no. Red ants are smaller and red all over. Those ants look like trouble to me. They are red imported fire ants. These ants cause agricultural problems, structural problems in buildings and damage to electrical equipment. They sting repeatedly. Those ants were red and black.
