These are beautiful, beautiful guitars. Just 2 weeks ago or so i got myself a 60th Standard bourbon burst model and i am SOOOO happy with it. LOVIN´ IT!!!!! Wanted one since i was 12 or so and now i am 50 and finally(!) got my own.

One will also notice that Gibson has gone back to the 1977-2014 Serial Number convention. YDDDYRRR(R) 10509XXX 50th Day of 2019 RRR is the production number of that day.

Let me take this time to thank the new CEO & team for bringing Gibson back to the basics and, a reasonable price range! Excellent job guys! I will definitely be getting a 50s heritage cherry Les Paul!!!

Yesterday I uploaded the video on Gibson New Lineup saying that there is only one question: IS QUALITY CONTROL IMPROVED? I didn't hear your thoughts on it in this video. You have put your hands on them in this video. I'd like you to talk about that instead of models.

Lovely guitars, but I'm happy I bought my Les Paul in 2017. That means it's got all the modern appointments with a beautiful classic burst finish!

It speaks volumes that a spontaneous blues jam broke out during in the live streaming - there’s obviously some mojo in them new Gibson’s and the pure honk in them p90s was just glorious

I've been wanting a Les Paul for a long time and waited for the one. I may have to head to Sweetwater soon and compare these 50s and 60s LPs! I'm loving the look of the Unburst finish, but they were all gorgeous! This may be a very good year to be a Gibson fan! Thanks for the life stream!

Music shops here in NZ that sell Gibson still have models on the wall going back a few years. I think they are going to have a hard time selling a 2017 Standard at the price they were going for when these new ones are closer in price to what a Classic was. Customers won't be complaining though.
