In today's video we show what living a healthy life in Antalya Turkey costs. We detail our expenses and reveal what we paid as we shop for clothes, visit multiple restaurants, join a Gym, get a haircut, and visit a pharmacist in Antalya Turkey. We show you where to shop to find the deals and prices to expect when visiting this beautiful city.
The city of Antalya is a bustling beach city of 2,500,000, which is a popular tourist destination, as well as a year round favorite Expat location. The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security can expect a great cost of living in Turkey when compared to the living costs in the US.
Currently Turkey is a tremendous value for Expats with income from abroad, the exchange rate when this vide was made was 13.6 Turkish Lira to the US Dollar.

Do you want to live abroad as an Expat? Are you looking for affordable and viable options? We are exploring the world to see what it's like to live in a country, and also discover if Residency is an option.
We began our retirement in March of 2020 with the intent to travel the world, spending 1-3 months in a country or location. We want to see what it's like to live there and not simply visit, and we want to share these experiences and the costs with whoever wishes to follow along.
We will make a commission on these links, your rates are not impacted.

Hey there…. I’ve been following you guys since you’ve been in Turkey & I absolutely love your channel & the content you provide. I will be traveling to Turkey next week, & specifically, I will be in AnTalya in the middle of March. I actually used to live in Turkey, or I should say, I was stationed there while in the Air Force, for three years of my career in Adana, Turkey & I absolutely loved 💖💖💖it!!! I’ve been dying to get back for the last 18 years. Your haircut was super nice and I’ve actually had the “fire” 🔥 thing done when I used to get my haircut in Turkey and that was the only time that I’ve ever experienced it. It was great to say the least! But I just want to tell you I love your channel and I appreciate the contact information provide, it’s been extremely helpful in my planning for my trip. I wonder if you use any USA BASED trading platforms like Charles schwab's street smart edge or something else and if you have any issues accessing them from Turkey? Or do your use a VPN with US geolocation and I wonder how that works and if you'd recommend a good one? Some US banks block access from abroad and question like this just can't be answered unless one actually logs on from Turkey and then perhaps gets locked out. Any info and a vlog on this subject will be greatly appreciated. This is an important issue for many American retirees who want to travel long term abroad like you. Many thanks!!!

Turkiye seems to be a country of nothing but men. As a single traveler in my 50's, I enjoy interacting with the ladies. Men work at all the shops, restaurants, cafes... very few ladies to be seen. To be honest, after 2 months in Turkiye last summer I became a bit annoyed at the lack of female faces. Turkiye has so much to offer such as high quality food, attractions and sites, parks and trails, history, the sea, low cost... But where are the women? I scratched Turkiye off the retirement list for now and picked the Philippines to settle. I think Turkiye is a great choice for a couple such as yourselves.

Most of the expats and tourists in Türkiye are females and they are from eastern Europeans like russians, ukranians, Belarusians, etc. Those females make relationships with turkish males. However the opposite rarely happens and it's an exception because the Muslim woman are usually conservative and not outgoing because they are taught to do so from early age. Woman usually do higher skilled jobs in Turkey so they are not being found much in the jobs like waiter or janitor and it's same in all of muddle east.
