I think you added too much water for the ekuru. But I know there are different ways people like to eat it sha. The local ekuru o, you soak it for like 45 mins, add little or no water to it. It won't blend uniformly, that's fine. Just blend it as much as you can. Then pour in a bowl and stir clockwisely and anti until it becomes light and fluffy.
