u got any tips on how to be confident enough to lift? i really want to but im too scared of being laughed at and how do u know what to do??

I felt the same but let me tell you: You "just" have to start! Go to the gym, googgle some exercises before you go, and start! When I started with lifting, all the time I would feel not confident enough but the moment i started with an exercise, I was so concentrated and blocked every other thought in my brain. And literally no one in the gym cares what you do, they are to busy with their own body... (of course people will look at you but not because they judg you, it is just that they are waiting and have nothing elese to do)

i used to be really scared to lift too bc the people at the gym intimidated me but like kati said, most ppl rly don’t care so don’t worry abt other ppl! i started off by following yt vids & IG workouts but i eventually just started working out with my friends who helped me a lot haha
