It’s so romanticized that I had such high expectations, and when I was miserable, I felt like I was alone or even a failure. Thanks for being your authentic self and sharing your story. usually don’t comment but hearing you describe your healthy experience taking care of yourself for the first time on your own and your feelings obviously so normal but kind of made me realize how sad it is that i had to take care of myself so young i never even went threw any feeling like that it had always felt like the only choice my whole life to make decisions for my health, mental health, & daily life on my own. i related to everything you said but that’s always been the way i’ve felt starting like age 10, anyways i appreciate hearing the different perspective on growing up.

I actually teared up watching this video because I've been going through some stuff lately and experienced a very toxic friendship which took up so much of my energy. During this time I kind of lost myself and forgott my worth. I've also been feeling a lot of presure from growing and adulting because like you said it is the best but also the worst think in the world. But I've also learned some of the exact same things that you mentiond and watching your videos always lifts me up and motivates me to work on myself, take care of myself and create a life I enjoy living. I find that if I make a weekly to do list. It helps to past the time. Especially when I add chores and cleaning passes the time so fast. I agree self care time is extremely important.

moved out around the same time as you and i completely agree. I had a vision of how my apartment was supposed to look, and it's getting there but still not the way I want it to look. I don't regret moving out at all, however, its been about half a year for me and it still doesn't feel completely liberating and free quite yet... getting there though!

I feel you on the taking full responsibility of yourself part, I moved out at a young age and it gave me the opportunity to develop the discipline necessary to live as my greatest me. I DEFINITELY have my down moments yet I think that comes with the living alone journey, great video!
