Living Books: Arthur's Birthday (Version 2) Full Playthrough
Living Books: Arthur's Birthday created by Broderbund Software in 1994. It's the the seventh Living Books PC CD-Rom Game and the second Arthur Living Books game based on the 1989 storybook written by Marc Brown, what Matthew Fieck requested to be read by Malcolm & Eddie actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and was originally released in 1994 and then V2 released in 1997.

Even when I had this as a kid, I saw that this did not solve the problem - it just made everyone go to Arthur's party, including Muffy. She'd booked a rock band and a clown and so all that money was wasted.

I think this is where creative thinking comes in. Maybe Muffy asked the band and the clown to attend Arthur's party as well because Muffy and Arthur share the same birthday.
