Yes in some areas sadly this does still happen. But doing it back to white people doesn't help. Sadly that's now another problem going on. People think it's okay to harm, hate and antagonize all white men because of a few. Two wrongs don't make a right. I hope for peace and equality for all people. Blacks AND Whites.

I've only begun to listen to Fear of a Black Planet just recently, and when I hear the drums and other instruments, I keep thinking to myself how awesome it would be for Public Enemy and Living Colour to collaborate - and then I see this. I would love to see an actual couple songs together though. Will Calhoun and Vernon Reid would tear it up first and foremost.

I mean, if you live close to a place where it happens, then you'd know. Otherwise, you're just a dude/chick who wants to believe what everyone on the internet/media says. Truth is, everyone's violent. It's in human nature (Blacks are humans too, right?) I mean, come on. Violence happens with humans. Its just a way of life, why do you think we have military? To go serve our country's leader's bloodthirst. That's all they want; a lot of blood.

not the LP version -but powerful.. if ya'll assume we havent come further with colors, think about media and politicians manipulating society into thinking we have not progressed at all. Its a lie. I'm Irish white and Choctaw gold. I listen to Parlaiment, Stevie, LC, metal, country, classical, folk and hip hop, anything from any culture; if it grooves. Braddah, I have seen this amazing band of positive brothers, not once; not twic; but thrice. Before I left Cali for Maui, one of my friends, told me that Will Calhoun was teachin drums at a school that opened in Pasadena, of '97; I will make my way back home this year. This year; I will find members of Living Colour...one way or another, & drop two of my art pieces;,on them. These guys, I also saw them with LA's own Fishbone. Tweo killer bands; one ass kicking concert, I will never forget.

I'm sorry that i offended so many people because it wasn't my intention. I'm sure they are good people and I don't want to seem like this conversation reflects on my personal views. LC does have a right to be mad about being treated in this way. Love and forgiveness are the best way to fight hatred, not violence or hateful words.
