Okay, as a transgender male, this is what I have to say. - Google is a thing, however, it’s literally not rude to ask if you are just genuine lol. - I don’t understand how asking about your genitals is a no-go, almost every relationship comes with a sexual side yea? It’s literally fine to want to know, I would want to know too. - It’s not transphobic to not want to date a trans person - Most of us are just normal ass people, just be nice like you would to anyone else. We ain’t all that weird ig.

For me it's only weird when strangers ask about my genitals, if it's a friend that's just curious or if it were someone interested in a relationship it's totally fine but when it's the first question out of a strangers mouth if they realize you're trans it's a bit jarring lol

Kake The Sailor ok this too much lmfao. I’m pretty sure it just means they aren’t attracted to it. It’s not as deep as ur making it, i want a dick inside me, and vaginas make me dysphoric LMFAO. This has NOTHING to do with ur social construction shit. It’s about preference, if i don’t like peanut butter i don’t like it, if i don’t like dick i don’t like it, if i don’t like long hair I don’t like it. Ur being weird. Don’t tell me I have mental issues because of PREFERACE . This ideology that u think is so “woke” is the same as telling a gay person they can’t be gay because they haven’t “explored enough” and that’s bullshit. So idk what ur on about, or who put this shit into ur mind, but it’s fucked up man. Ppl associate penis with men bc that’s what men are born with, it’s science not a “social construct”. Me as a transgender person, i get dysphoric not having a dick, why? Because it’s a MALE thing. I can’t just be like omggg i love vagina hehe it’s sooo male. No. Way to discredit and invalidate everything in the world LMFAO. How about YOU think more deeply about this? I’m pretty sure men who like men with penises don’t have this “phobia” of vaginas, it literally just means they prefer dick. Yikes. I’m all for looking at who a person is on the inside, but it’s not like you can just take away the sexual part of a relationship. People like what they like, what you are saying is disrespectful. You need to respect what others prefer. I’m honestly shocked someone wouldn’t want to take into account what others like and don’t like, which is such a simple concept. Don’t discredit science either, this isn’t a social construct matter. You are delusional.

I too, at the age of 7, expected that I would be born as a male in my next life and that I had just drawn the short end of the stick. Honestly for the longest time thought everyone wanted to be a guy; that all girls were upset that they were not boys and that that was just the way life was. Wasn't until I saw a movie about a trans women that I realized that this might not be the case, still took me a long time after seeing said movie to actually allow myself to question myself. I would just sort of have a way in the back of my mind thought 'Am I trans?' before quickly shoving it away and thinking probably not.

Have always wished I was born a boy, my parents hoped that the baby (me) is a boy, and now they do allow me to dress like however I want. But I still don’t feel content, seeing how people (guys) my age like they’re taller, bigger, have deeper voice and all, and I just wish I was born a boy and go through puberty like other boys. I’m uncomfortable with people seeing me as a girl or think I’m a girl, I’m uncomfortable with my body, with my voice. I found out about transgender probably about 4 years ago (2016) and I was fourteen, I was so excited and just wanted to let my parents know, to let me go through transition. But it’s really not that easy, four years and I’m still trying to figure out how to come out.

Omg I used hate in school when they split girls and boys. At that time I didn't know I was intersex. I always won dodge ball & was the best basketball player. I didn't know back then I was non binary. if only these terms were more known 15+ years ago. It would have saved me a lot of anxiety and depression of not fitting into the norms of societal roles. Things were much simpler back then tho, it didn't start getting unbearable until teen years when everyone was going through puberty. And my body wasn't doing the same as girls or boys. Being almost 33 (in a few weeks) and having corrective surgeries. I can say that I am in a better space. I used to hate being born different I just wanted to be "normal" whatever that is. But once I accepted my differences and learned to love myself I've found a happier place and accept being who I am, an intersex person on the trans spectrum.

From a purely scientific point of view, gender is what you identify as and what others perceive you as. Sex is what the chromosomes say, and there are at least 6 sexes...that is chromosomally sexes that can breed. 6...6...What's the big deal if some identifies as one of the two or other? You won't know without a test even if you fit into 2. Don't be judgmental, love every human if you can. You're all just silly.

@@carmenismyname it's just that very often cis people automatically talk about you as a trans man and see you as a trans man, instead of just seeing you as a male. @Gary Lee maybe what you say about biological reality is true, but we truly are brains inside of a body, our bodies are the translators of our brains to the outside world, and the way our brains perceive those signals is who we are. What you have to understand is the reality that we live in is the one created by our brain, and nothing else matters as much as our perception of the world. And no I'm not talking about politics or opinions, I'm talking about how we ultimately see ourselves, who we know we are, and how we feel about that. We are not only our bodies, tell that to people who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) these are multiple developed personalities living in one body, which only one of the personalities matches with, every other person existing in that brain quite literally is a brain with no body, they do not own the body like the hosts does. So psychology reality ultimately overshadows biological reality and to pretend that humans don't function that way is not looking at humans through an objective lense, but instead trying to use the lens of logic and reason, which is not the system in which people think or function.

@jennosyde709 4 жыл бұрын
@@rd9065 What people like Gary Lee fail to account for is that by default, boys and girls are actually extraordinarily similar biologically. The most drastic differences that occur in men versus women that make them unique is the influence of hormones during puberty, yet both the male and female body respond to individual hormones the same way. Male individuals with high levels of female hormones who undergo a "female" puberty will develop breasts and even the ability to lactate. Female individuals with high levels of male hormones who undergo a "male" puberty will develop a deeper voice, a larger frame, sturdier muscles, and even growth in the genitalia region. For that matter, genitalia are developed from literally the same physical tissues as one another, be they male or female. Until they hit that point of puberty, the differences between boys and girls are remarkably small. It should not be a surprise to anyone who is familiar with that information that identities would fluctuate between sexes and genders.

Videos like this are the positivity that gets me through the day. I'm a trans male. My brother (and yes, I asked him and he doesn't care about pronouns and if fine being called my brother) came out to me as non-binary recently. Some days, he feels more masculine. Some days, he feels more feminine. It is what it is. But we live at home, our parents are conservative southern baptist christians, and it will take awhile to save up for any surgeries (namely, myself wanting T and top surgery). It's been like this for awhile, I'm going on over a year of knowing I'm trans, but neither of us are out to family yet and only have a few close friends that we can trust coming out with. All of this is just to say that videos like this are life for people with few lifelines in situations like ours in the world we live in. Thank you so much for posting this, for all the people involved, and for all the positivity in the comments. It really does make a difference for the better.

I identify as a trans man for the same reason men with african ancestry often identify themselves as ”black men”. In other words, because it has shaped me as a person and it is relevant to who I am. It is also a source of oppression that becomes completly negated if I pretend its not a part of me. I’m certainly a man first, but that doesnt change the fact that my past and experience in society is significantly different from a lot of other men. When i ignore that I ignore a part of myself.

I remember realizing in 2013 that I was agendered and trying to formulate my thoughts to my parents, who were like "what??" so I just kind of put it on the backburner. I described it as "I would be equally bad at being a man as I am trying to be a woman", "like I'm wearing a costume, and it happens to be a woman costume" and "my ideal form would be a noncorporeal cloud". So happy to be in 2020 when people can just be people; I have a lot of hope for the future because gen Zers are some of the most accepting and non-bigoted people I've spoken to.

Identity is much more complicated than science, don't be a transmed. Being transGENDER is related to (you guessed it) _gender,_ which is a social construct and not a biological fact like sex is. Being transgender can have biological factors, but it doesn't have to. Having gender dysphoria doesn't mean anything else than you're just uncomfortable being addressed as the gender that's typically linked to your sex, or the gender you were assigned at birth. You are whatever you say you are because there's literally no other proof to what we are. Identity is complex and abstract and it is not biological. And there's nothing wrong with that. Each person is the only one capable of fully defining themselves and expressing who they are. Are we gatekeeping being trans now? And for your information, some people do choose what gender to be that day, and they're just as valid as you are. If you can have your identity, why can't they have theirs?

I’m a gay man and up until... I’d say about five months ago. I saw trans as “confused” etc. BUT, as time went on I’ve grown to discover that there are men-FTM people who I’m attracted to. Seeing them as a male and not female (even though genitalia is different) that just totally went out of my mind. Their soul is beautiful, seeing them how they are and living life how they want to, to be happy. That makes me happy. I’m interested in this guy right now who’s ftm and I’m hoping things work out because they’re absolutely beautiful and I want to show them that so badly. Then I best the straight guys who say “why don’t you just a girl then?”... It’s not the same. Those people are only focused on what’s between the legs and not where the person is in their heart and soul. I can’t explain it, but that’s just how it is... Yes there’s science, great. Science isn’t always right though, everything’s always changing. We as people only know what we think we know.

One important thing I’ve learnt about me that’s more complicated, and very difficult to explain but I know my inner essence/soul doesn’t correspond to the body I was born with. I know it’s sounds confusing almost mad but I know my story. It has taken a toll on my mental health as well as my physical but it’s the way I roll. I was born of one gender but I’m of the other. Unfortunately I was unable to transition because my hormones were already compromised and with the additional health issues, my body wouldn’t survive it. I am one of those people that looks awkward in the gender I was born with, and unfortunately when people see me, they initially see the gender my soul is and several times when I’ve made the individual aware what gender I was born with, things got ugly quick and I’ve been accused of being of deception. I do live in fear when I’m outside my home and I know certain members of my family are embarrassed of me. It’s safer for me to live a hermit lifestyle and I’m ok with that. I wished people understood transgenderism, for a few of us isn’t just an organic thing, it’s more deep-seated than that. I knew people who identified with being transgender but decided to continue their lives in the gender they were born with, unfortunately I weren’t. My true inner gender has and still does manifest itself in my eyes, face, voice in everything and People can be so cruel.

I've gotten over about what he would think about it but i still feel like i'm just something random that dosent exist because i know i'm not demimale but i'm not trans or a girl either :V honestly i'm going about my day being confused now.

It is a great video with very deep and profound messages. I wish the whole “ identify as” phrasing would be replaced with the science that’s out there to explain how having gender identity issues occur. Because it would give the world a better and more solid place to understand and accept. It’s not just feelings but a brain development issue.
