I've been living and traveling in a truck camper for 3+ years and, well...I'm moving into a 4x4 van, check it out!

Re: the van vs the truck pop-up camper, the van is just way more efficient at doing anything the truck can do. OK, yeah, maybe the truck is more capable in certain offroad situations, but how often do you really find yourself in those situations? If it's me (and I'm only in it for the bikini shots) I'm 100% van. Just come visit me sometime ;)

Not speaking from experience - as I cannot afford one yet - but I have heavily researched them! You're exactly right - they're incredibly efficient and will make it easier to not just create content, but also live! Hannah in a van is next up!

I really like these Sprinter Van conversions. Still and all, the functionality of a truck and a towable camper really appeals to me. With these Sprinter vans, if you need to go to the nearest grocery store, you need to drive your house there. Your truck camper with a little trailer for the Yamaha is the perfect combination. Ok dear, 1) I love the sprinter van deal. I would make you more comfortable. 2) if you get a lift for the bike you could still go adventuring 3) when snow board at the lodge, you drive to the parking lot. 4) if you want to start a run on a mountain without a lift chair. Simply rent a helo to drop you off

After 30 seconds watching your video, and having retired myself in June at age 55.. youthful 55, I have just returned from an expensive one month British Columbia visit to spend time with my son. I have no pets no plants no mortgage no responsibility I think what you're doing is completely awesome. I hope you're going to touch on roughly what type of budget you lead this beautiful lifestyle with. I will watch now.

Hi Hannah, loved this Van review, sure looks like the ones I saw in Tahoe a couple of months back. We decided the Van way was the one for us for the very same reasons you called out if your review. Ford also does a Transit 4x4 conversion van. Quigley 4x4 in Manchester PA does the conversion for them. I've owned two Quigley 4x4 conversions, both were the older econline vans, a E250 and a E350, still have the E350, it's my daily driver, absolutely love them. U-joint Offroad is another quality 4x4 conversion for vans, they have two locations, Fletcher NC and Frederick CO.

The Sprintet 4x4 is probably the BEST vehicle for van life. You should check out livin the van life. He takes his sprinter off road !!

Nicely equiped van. I think I'd get a cordless water transfer pump and possibly a 5 gallon bucket with accessories,hose,etc. for refilling the fresh water tank. When it rains out have a water collection system....maybe as easy as placing a bucket under water run off from the awning.

If you hit that gold mine, I would love for you to have the Earthroamer. It has that nice connection to the living space, so you don't have to get out of the truck. And I wanted to say. Very functional, very nice. The one possible negative that I observed is the bed. Looks like the bed is built with cushions about 4 or maybe 6 inches thick. I would prefer a real mattress of some sort. As a kid I traveled and camped with my family in a 22' trailer. All of the beds were made with foam cushions that doubled as seating. I never complained, but I'm a little older (okay a lot older. That cross country trip, NC to CA was in 1970) and I appreciate comfort. Still, looks like a good setup. Thanks for sharing, Dr. Hannah.

I've been camping for almost 5 years now straight in a fithwheel. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. Sick and tired of being "HOUSE POOR" so I went for it and I love it . I have MEGA space for me and my daughter whom I have full custody of. You have a pretty cool van. But I wouldnt trade my fithwheel for anything. I save alot of money this way and I realy enjoy RV living.....

We have the Sprinter 144, fun to travel in…needs a larger fuel tank.. most load them up with too much weight…we are keeping ours around 8200 lbs..we get average 16.5 mpg 3000 watt inverter..12 volt air conditioner…large battery setup would be important for Van life living

That is an amazing van build, it really looks like they put a lot of thought into the design. Was thinking if you had a place to store some portable solar panels to charge up the batteries during the summer you could run the air conditioner more if needed. That is great they give you a starlink dish. I would say you could probably do 90% of the adventures you seem to do on video in this van, the deep snow may be the only issue, but again if you could put more aggressive tires for winter, or possibly see if you can put air lockers in the differentials then you would have true 4X4, or a Eaton TrueTrac in the rear and a locker in the front. Again this is an awesome video, and thanks for showing us this van.

there's one solar panel on the roof to help keep everything topped off but there's also an alternator package to help recharge the system! For the overland build ideas, I love your suggestions, I have some figuring out to do!

You are fun and engaging to watch! Thank you for this thorough review 👍. My family and I came back from a 6-day camping trip through AZ with a Winnebago Solis 59. Prior to that, I was doing some research, and came across your video. I thought I was convinced that the Solis 59p was a great choice, but this van does it for me with the 4x4, and the quality and thoughtfulness, and the build is much better. It just needs a solar panel roof and pop up tent then it’ll be perfect for me and my family of 4.

Hey, Pal! I've looked at many many van style vehicles as well like Sportsmobile. What I like about the is the extreme off road capability you talked about for this Sprinter. What I liked in this Sprinter was the wet/dry bath option. So, either does have the options for conversion to add the other features. I like the pop top on the Sportsmobiles as well.

Thought I was watching an episode of the price is right for a minute.....”that’s not all there’s more! Show them what else Hannah!”lol that definitely has a lot of cool upgrades and having water for that amount of time would be a nice feature as well as power, not to mention the ability to go from the cab to to back without going outside, I have never seen how hardcore you can get with off-roading them or what upgrades you could do to maybe make them better at it but I am sure you would be able to find out 😂. I am a Ford man for sure so seeing the old Superduty go would be sad but the show must go on, maybe you could find a way to keep the ole Ford for your farm truck when you get the land of your dreams! Best of both worlds. 😊

Cool Van! 42 gallons of fresh water is really good. My 28 foot travel trailer only has 3 gallons more than that. Looking forward to more videos on the van covering how it drives and running costs. Enjoy!

Nice set up! I like that you can access the front and drive away if need be. I was watching Foresty Forest and he mentioned he was actually thinking of going to the truck set up because when his van was in getting serviced his personal space is open to the mechanics. I hadn’t thought of that. That said I still like for security purposes you being able to access the front of the van .

Nice fun video! Love the humor! I still favor "our" f150(f250 for you) & the 4 wheel pop up camper. Mine has a lot of those bells & whistles for 60k. (33k truck, 27k camper) that is with tax and everything. But I love Sprinter Van Builds! So creative with the use of space. You did a great job showing the custom build. I agree that the top advantage is personal safety...especially at night, you can just fire up the Van and take off! You are terrific at soft sales!
