I think that this is the most clever mini camper modification that I have seen. Well planned and executed. It is amazing how you managed to put all these tings in a such small space. I also love the fact that all that structure breaks into small pieces for storage when you don’t use it. Genius!

That is a cute and portable version of a micro house where everything are foldable, adjustable as well as fully customizable, it has many things in store hidden in small spaces while fully mobile. These can be manufactured with the permission of the owner. :) winning design sir. The drawers, and all the cabinets as well as the bed are all tuck neatly inside the compact micro car. It is genuine ingenious. Congratulations.

My goodness, that was really incredible. Such ingenuity. What I really liked, more than the clever way of assembling and disassembling all the components, was how this man made it like a home. Rather than just look at those plastic bins, which while functional are rather ugly, he took the time and effort to make some wooden false drawer fronts. That just completely changed the mood of the whole van. As an artist it is very hard for me to be in ugly surroundings. I would have had to do the very same thing.

Love it the way you did it, amazing. If you still do camping with Wagon R then get a customized bracket for spare wheel and get that fixed on your back door. so you don't need to take everything out in case of any damaged to the tyre. Could be. But if that's the case, then why are there so many ordinances virtually EVERYWHERE in the U.S. that prohibit people from living in a van (or even sleeping in it overnight, parked on the side of a road) -- except in an RV campsite? So much for a "free country".

BEST BASIC TUTORIAL ON LIVING OUT OF SMALL/MIDSIZE VEHICLE! NO OPINIONS. NO TALKING. JUST SHOWING HOW YOU CAN PIECE TOGETHER A USABLE LIVING SPACE IF YOU FIND YOURSELF, OR YOU AND A DEAR ONE IN SUDDEN NEED OF THAT. It doesn't say it, but it OBVIOUSLY takes VERY good measurements and testing that the base fits BEFORE you build from there. Working with wood or double corrugated plastic boards, you can always cut down, but adding back an 1/8 of in inch.. is just a bummer. :) I LOVED THIS. I feel I could work in my garage all summer on and off (I'm disabled) and build a living space for the bed of my truck.. and still pull the smallest trailer for my animal(s). AND I think I could put a shower in one side of the trailer. So very useful if I keep it light with the plastics instead of wood materials.

Did something similar with a Colt Eagle van - but much simpler. Built a platfrom behid the driver that folded when driving & required pulling the seat as fwd as possible & unfolding my folded foam mattress for sleeping, installing homemade screens + curtains for privacy & ventilation & storing my clothes in a small duffle bag under platform, all my kitchen gear in one tote + single burner stove, toilet at the the side (bag-style see CTC) plus used the clamps for the regular 2nd seat (removed) to install a small table to brew coffee/eat meals. Utilized one of those plastic drawer (from Walmart) for clothing) plus hung coats, jkts over passenger seat - this worked well on a 1-month trip to BC from Ont for me & while it took over 20 min, it was v comfortable & cost less than $50 in total (in 2002) done by & used by a disabled almost senior.
