Nomi, I inherited real estate in northern Idaho. I never went there. I had no desire to go there. I am a white woman. What you experienced is the main reason for that. And a major reason I am getting out of that real estate situation. I have no desire to go somewhere where so many people would treat another human being like that. I have no room in my life for that hatred to touch. You made the right decision to leave. You are better than that. Better than that ugliness. You do not need to be subjected to that or treated that way. Go where you can feel safe. Or as safe as is possible for anyone nowadays.

I believe she did the right thing in filming him but holding her tongue. She is utterly alone in an area(s) whose residents have made it clear on numerous occasions that she is not welcome. To gather her belongings and leave was the responsible safest decision. Think if that is the "tone of the town". And she encountered trouble and needed to contact 911. Would she receive the assistance needed? Documenting the incident with his face and all was perfect. (I will say I'm not so sure I wouldn't have put his face out there after i cleared the area! Lol😂 I have also stopped speaking to everyone. I used to, but ran into the same response either NO response or the "smile". If you know then you know. So I now match energy. If a smile is all that's given, that's all that's returned. That goes for a hello or straight look right through you too. Nomi, as you said you're human we all are and have areas of opportunities to grow. Some will some won't! Thx for another nail biting adventure gurl! A cave?!?! ❤

I'm so sorry and disappointed that you had to go through that totally unkind behavior. It literally made me sick to my stomach when you talked about it, Nomi. You are so undeserving of that kind of messed up behavior. As far as your hike through the cave, I would never, ever, ever, ever go through a cave, period!!! You are way too brave!!! Looking forward to following you on your Artic Circle adventure. Stay safe, Nomi!

I sighed when you said you were there. I thought you knew. My best Army buddy went there summers ago and he was very uneasy. He said they hated the fact he had CA plates. He said he had to leave ASAP..He wouldn’t go anymore

I would've reacted worse, and forgot where I was, lol. There are a certain group of people who think that they can act anyway they please, but one day...boy, one day they may run into the wrong one. Anyway, wise decision to leave, you have to listen to your intuition.

Howdy from Texas. You’re such an inspiration. I would love to travel and see the places you have been. Next time you’re in Texas try going to the natural bridge caverns close to San Antonio. I’m sorry you had that experience. Some people are so narrow minded and in their own world. You are a great person, beautiful inside and out ❤️

I had to skip most of the cave section - claustrophobic! It's so sad to hear about your experiences in Idaho. Too bad there is still so much ignorance and hate. I missed my first bite too; the food looked delicious! 😊

I've been watching your journey for quite some time and there have been several instances where I admired your bravery because I could see you were venturing into areas where it's likely you'd encounter racism but you never said so. Keep on being strong and try not to let those ugly people dim your spark. Much love.

OMG...... you had me scared for you in that cave. I just watched a few videos where people got stuck and very tight places and died and were unable to be retrieved. Please be careful....especially if you're on your own. You might end up in a situation that you have no control over. I don't want anything to happen to you....I love watching your adventures. Be safe on your amazing journeys.

I’ve experienced racism all my life, from NYC to Las Vegas and especially Ohio. And most of the time it’s that old white man with the dirty looks. Or the ones in their pickup trucks. When I was nine years old, a Jewish woman yelled from her window, “Go back where you came from!” And years later when I was an adult, I thought about that incident and said to myself, “My people were here on this continent well before your people ever set foot here.” And these people don’t even know who you are. You’re a great person Nomi.

I really had a feeling in that last video or two that something sad was up. &. In a certain part of driving through that open country all I thought was how white it felt, just a feeling. Gives new meaning to the expression butt f--Idaho. Not just rural but some people ignorant. I always think- they’ll find out when they die & have to apologize & feel shame Aside from that- the intro quote, the heart poundingly claustrophobic cave, the darkness, I could hardly take it. Beautiful & fascinating to see, but yikes the suspense. So glad you had a companion caver.

So sorry you ran into that situation that we all may face in sometime in our lives. I just don't understand the hate people hold in their hearts for people they don't even know. But, follow your "gut" feelings as I always say to friends and young people. I'm glad the angels were by your side. Take care, and keep on truckin! As an added comment, you were safer in the cave than among dangerous humans!

100% unacceptable. No one should feel any negative feelings walking into an establishment anywhere at any time at any place on this planet. I know we’ve got some old mentalities as our grandparents use to do things differently and their parents generation use to do things differently but this is 2024 no one should feel Unwelcome anywhere. Smh.
