I need to research more on that. but even more than just a shared history, even our upbringing and manners are similar. we both emphasize the importance on respect for our elders, my mother always told me that every elder is your parent so you have to respect them. you talk to elders in a respectful way, women haven't adapted the harmful feminist ideologies, we are more respectful and we cover up more. even with how Chinese mothers act, reminds me of my mom. and the kindness and generosity of Chinese people, is the same in my region. in Southern Africa it's called “ubuntu” meaning humanity. this means that nomatter where a person comes from and no matter their race, everyone should be treated kindly, with respect and never see someone go hungry if you can help them. this is why we have people like “BI Phakathi” his videos are on KZfaq, he helps people in Southern Africa regardless of who they are. if they are white, black, Asian he doesn't care. that just reflects who we are. I have seen a lot of people like BI Phakathi in China. there are times I've felt protected and loved here.

I really dislike this mindset, I actually find it insulting like there's something wrong with being black so you immediately assume people hate you. not everyone is out to get us, most people just don't care and are focused on living their lives. Been in China for 4 years, never experienced racism. quiet the opposite, people want to get close to me. there's a sort of privilege, you get special treatment in a very good way like free tables, good service etc.
