You don't want to move to Texas....lived there until I was 18. Humidity hits different in the South.....makes it unbearable 6 months out of the year

One thing I miss after living here is the lack of culture when it comes to food. Cincinnati is mostly fast food and chain restaurants. Coming from Los Angeles that was huge change for me. I’m used to being within 20 minutes from any kind of ethnic food imaginable. There’s some decent Indian food here, and some authentic Mexican if you know where to go (find a truck.) I almost never go out to eat here unless I’m looking for regular old American food. But people are very friendly, and it’s a safe place to raise kids. Also, the cost of living is going to be an absolute shock if you grew up on the west coast or Eastern Seaboard. I went from lower middle class to upper middle class overnight.

Yeah, the population in LA metro is about 5x as big. You’ll get more variety and diversity there. And other things.

Visited LA and was shocked about the lack of chain restaurants there. LA drivers use their turn signals more often and allow you to merge in.

My favorite thing here is honestly the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati zoo. And skyline.

If they don’t fix that damn bridge it don’t matter what time of day or year unless it’s 2am In the morning that bridge is dead stop traffic for no reason, there’s no wreck or accident it’s just uncalled for takes extra 15 min to drive through downtown for no reason.
