Folsom, California and Granite Bay, California have a lot to offer! In today’s video, I’m going to share a tour of Folsom and Granite Bay (2 suburbs of Sacramento California). These two communities are located about 15 minutes east of Sacramento at the beginning of the foothills. Among other things they are known for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, boating), highly ranked schools (per greatschools.org) and beautiful homes. Folsom Lake is close by which is a popular summer destination for swimming and boating. Much of the area is surrounded by native Oak trees and granite rocks. If thinking about moving to Sacramento and life in Sacramento California then this video and KZfaq is for you!

I used to live in Roseville Ca for two years and we used to drive to Folsom it’s was so beautiful. My son used to go excelsior elementary and I always felt confused if it was in Roseville or granite bay . Both really beautiful areas Anyways . I really enjoy watching your channels

You bet! I had a client buy a home there last year. It’s amazing how many homes are being built. What are your thoughts of that area?

@@JasonWalter1 I love the area, some of the homesites had great views. However I don't like the fact that the property tax millage rate was increased recently. It seems the city is gouging new buyers on top of all the extra money they are getting from the price increases. Also, it seems they overbuilding, Elliot homes had 17 "ready to move" homes available in the "Alder at Saratoga" neighborhood.

@@minimalist0000some of them certainly do (for a premium). I’m wondering how much traffic will be impacted in the years to come given the 10k+ homes being built.

I’ll tell you what’s frustrating, information right now is extremely confusing. On one hand sounds like things are bad and are going to stay bad. Other hand I hear things are fine and will stay fine. It’s all perspective, but how do we find universals? What’s really going on? Does any one know or care? Seem like the goal for every should be affordable based on the circumstances. People should fill good and purchasing, not frustrated and worried. Why don’t people understand and tell the truth??? Good luck out there.

It certainly has been a very interesting market this year. Who would have thought prices would have increased so much given 6-7% mortgage rates?
