You missed the topic of reservation and corruption which are the key factor for this issue . In India it is easy to take a licensed gun instead of opening a restaurant. According to Government the salary structure of a government employees are less than an average person in India but if you see their networth you will see the difference .

I came back to India from Australia for my family.I started working as a software developer.I studied from one of the finest Australian university.The salary packages which I was offered were pathetic.Even a plumber in Australia earns more than a working IItian in India.Plus the treatment and abusive languages used in jobs and private sector in India thinks that employees are slaves.even though with that pathetic salary i was not able to buy myself a nice piece of basic Jordans as well😆.So i resigned and came back to Australia and living the dream. I didnt studied in a profession to sell pakodas.

I dont know about other fields but being a med student i would prefer to do my residency at a foreign country because of the reservation policy at pg level entrances, money is never the primary reason it is the lack of equal opportunities.

Being a dalit i would like to leave to. Racism towards dalit is at its peak and i don't want my son to die just because he drank water from reserved pot . (Context :- a dalit boy beaten to death because he drank water from a pot which was reserved for teachers in a school). Your concern is about getting high rank education while most dalits are worried about their damnn life. Sounds fair i guess.

@@Nishantic need to write the exam but its not worth to come back over saturation is there in medical field and academics salary for a senior lecturer is 18 k to 30 k. After 4-5years salary is 45- 60k but many of the colleges sticking to 30 k itself for a reader. Consultations also over saturated working under someone salary for a doctor is like 5k to 15 k. In hospital it could go for 20k to 30k. Own clinic if it flourishes then you will earn otherwise being a doctor is just a name and not worth a penny. Pgs and Ugs in college are not taught well now the condition is worst than arts college. Being a doctor myself and went through all the phases know the harsh reality. Government job to be frank is given through back doors either you must have money or need political support and the openings are 😂

Its not like only Indians move to foreign. There are many countries from where people move to foreign. Multiple countries are suffering Brain Drain. Its also the currency that causes difference in salaries. Western Countries have a very smart government and well educated citizens with strong currency.

indeed and also it depends a lot about the student's( if he or she is student at all) personal financial circumstances back home. I have a few friends( coming from famous business families in India, off course wouldn't name them here) left the foreign land straight after the B-school degree is over to settle and start their entrepreneurial journey without even bother to apply for post study VISA......so life is distinctively different ( and amazing difficult) here in a foreign land sometimes!!!

Cast is another factor and due to that i didn't get admission in government college although i have sufficient qualification. And private companies are offering packages like 17k, 20k which doesn't makes sense in this high prices . So i also leave to get better use of my talent....🙏

China also have large population in fact more than India.But they manage it and beating USA .It is because of educated leaders and good economic development . China is wrong in many ways but economic management is good than both India and USA. But however India have to give some relaxation on taxes from 36 per to at least 20 or 25 per government should think about long term that then more Indian will live in India. That is patently untrue and misinformed. In US, there is hardly any pension fund. You do have 401k and similar schemes exist in India. You do get great facilities in India. Open your eyes and you will see them. Not everything is as good, but we are still developing.

in the company where I works in USA more 50% are Indian in this company , guess company owned by Indian, Hospitals -Prime. In my team Two students just finished their degrees and joined, manager is got H1, Direction H1 …on. I am US citizen now, India’s government sector has limitations of age for all to enter in job but not in other Developed countries except physical bound jobs. After my PhD I worked as Guest Lecturer in government, waited for 11 years to create position in India but unfortunately government works are very slow, and my age passed away for government jobs. So here USA welcomed me…

Personally money was not the primary reason for me moving abroad. The first reason was too much competition - I would need to qualify for several entrance tests and rank high enough to secure a good enoud university for studies, whereas it's comparatively easier to get into a nice enough foreign university. Second reason - the lifestyle in first world countries is better, easier. Third and most important for me - safety for women and equal opportunity workplaces.

Based on earning of salary, there can be difference for people living in USA and India. But USA citizen living standard are more costly than Indian living standard. Things are much costly in America with comparison to India. It's also can be seen in india. Peoples who are living in Mumbai like cities they must have salary or earning upto 1 lakh, otherwise they can't pay the rent and feed on. On other side, peoples living in small town can survive happily even if he is earning 20 to 30 thousand rupees. Earning of people depends on living standard of society where they are living.

1. Brain drain tax which you are suggesting will be total disaster as it will encourage NRI to renounce Indian citizenship completely and apply for foreign citizenship. 2. Solution is equal treatment. Reservation is the major aspect of this. If you treat someone lesser who is more meritous that anyone else, it creates a obvious friction. Furthermore, for those people, the treatment and respect in foreign land is far better than India( homeland) . Therefore, it’s not always not only money but equality. 3. Synthetic Pricing: for example the overhead taxation on products from phones such as apple products to cars from manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes are much higher. So the salaries are low and prices are high, no one wants that. That should change 4. Problem with food and choice : if it’s my life, it’s my liberty to eat and practice what I deemed. But in India is very sensitive to almost everything. Bacon, steaks, anything which is normal and eaten by Indians worldwide is not available in India, sort of banned. For a free society, this basic this is must have. These are few tangible steps that I can suggest for making sure India remains favourable for someone who want to stay back in India and build her or his future.

@@Shesays__1111 Yes it does, certain companies like Infosys looks at your 10th marks as well. You need to get a minimum of 60 percent in your boards and in all college exams and you shouldn't have any arrears. Then only they will consider you for the application process.

I disagree with you. I think I am qualified to answer this. - Taxing 1% from NRIs - I don’t think you tax someone on the income that is earned on another land where you pay big taxes to the government to maintain the lifestyle a regular immigrant has to maintain. Precisely why india does not allow dual citizenship with any other country to avoid these conflicting situations. From a perspective of psychology, let’s just say that NRIs get taxed at 1% of their foreign income earned as a resident of that country then one day when they actually give up indian citizenship, they will never be interested in investing their hard earned foreign income into the Indian economy. At the moment, nearly 3% of NRIs contribute towards the Indian GDP and that’s a lot of money to lose by taxing 1%. So the intention here is long term gain. Indians going abroad - Unfortunately, it is a reality because nobody deserves to live a middle class life anymore when you have the skills and capabilities to live a better life. I have worked in core engineering sectors in both India and Australia. Personally, I found that my life was atleast 10 folds easier compared to india. And to those people who say why do you want an easy life and money? I think that’s a lame argument to have.

I am a NRI, and from my perspective, we as Indians are still stuck in silly mentality rather than upgrading ourselves, for example- we fight over khalistan but never on getting basic rights like water-air- electricity-road etc. You will never see common people rallying against government for basic rights- that's how government has fooled us- that's how our press index is one of the lowest in the world

Here in India a engineer spends lakhs of rupee to obtain B.tech degree in any branch even then they have to struggle to get job. Luckly if any engineer gets the job in core field so salary structure will be like company is hiring labour not an engineer. That's why motivation goes down by seeing all the struggle to obtain Knowledge upto this point and in last such cheap organisation exploit employees by giving threat of loosing job. In my personal opinion our govt. should do some intervention in policy for salary structure in private organisations.
