Really loving these videos. Especially the fact that you don't do alot of voiceovers. It let's me focus more on what you're filming and makes these videos especially relaxing. I am glad to see Yae is still open! I went there back in 2019 with my family because of one of your videos. They are truly the best in Tokyo! All of the staff was so kind, they have great costumer service and they spoke in both Japanese with those of us that understood the language and English with my family members that didn't. I am hoping I can go back soon and visit Yae once again! 🧡

Hey Kim, been supporting your channel ever since your Liz Lisa days in Perth! And met you at k-con Sydney too! I realised I have unexpected travel plans to Asia in June next year (might as well go Japan too) right? Would love to see some videos with suggestions of where to visit each month/season in Japan? Something like “Places in Japan to visit in summer” with suggestions of provinces, any festivals that are happening, any special food in the area we should try etc. Would love videos like these every season? 😊

Hina is great with strangers! I grew up around a lot of neighborhood dogs and always thought you could tell something about the owners by how well their dog acted around new people. And Kim shows you how to do it right, pet people! Put your pet in a cute outfit, get some pretty pictures, then get them out of the clothes. If dogs were meant to wear clothes 24/7 they'd be born with credit cards attached. Cheers!

I tried once wearing a princess costume from historical drama in TOEI Kyoto Studio Park. Full costume with kimono, wig, make up and accessories. I have been to Asakusa a lot of times but I didn't try to wear kimono there maybe because I was conscious with my round face and walking around w/ a lot of people. 😅

Hey girl! One, those pictures looked amazing, 10/10. Two, I don’t know if it’s a set thing in your editing software but if possible, could you make the location names in the corner of the screen a bit bigger? Or if not, list them in your description? It’s hard for me to read such small words 😅 and since I visit Tokyo semi regularly I’m really trying to pay attention! Hina’s Yukata is gorgeous!! We’re going to Japan on Friday (28/10) and thinking about what I can buy for my dog during the trip. (It’s our first time going away without him, he’s a covid puppy 🥺🥺) I’ll definitely check out the this store in Asakusa and Green Dog Tokyo Midtown (saw this is one of your other vlogs) but was wondering if you have any other pet store/pet souvenir recommendations?

Not gonna lie I want to travel with my dog to Japan but unlike Australia and Japan where you can enter with your dog without quarantining I would have to. But I definitely want to find that shop with the kimonos for dogs and get one for mine when I visit

Ah yeah :( we are so lucky we didn’t have to quarantine and the process was easy from Australia. If she had to quarantine I wouldn’t have moved to Japan

Maybe I've read it wrong but all animals even from the designated areas have to do a 12 hours quarantine, but yes normally if you made all the papers it should not be more

I believe it’s longer for pets coming from places where certain viruses reside like rabies and such. Japan doesn’t have some of these and would like to keep it that way. Thus why if say from Canada to Japan it’s a few weeks in quarantine for the dog I might be wrong but I’m sure that’s what I read.

Hina didn’t do 12 hours. It says that but she was actually out in around 30mins. Canada is not considered a designated region unfortunately so the process is the same for the US

Oh okay that is really great for Hina, but shoot I didnt know I'm in Canada also and I didnt know it can be several days even if all the vaccins and stuff were done before, I am planning to live in Japan one day and to bring my cats but I really dont want them to do more than 12 hours quarantine

My Japan vacation ended and now I'm in withdrawals because my sleep schedule is on Japan time LOL. I was lucky that my mom's friend asked what dinner course I wanted and I ordered a Kobe pre-fix course and she said to order it since it was our last night in Japan. The last time I had real Kobe beef was in 1987 so that was special.

I have a double impression of the kimono. On the one hand, I understand that this is a work of art, but since these clothes are too voluminous, they are more suitable for older women and for those who are not sure of their figure. On our beloved Kim, I would like to see something more tight, emphasizing her figure. ;)

I will not waste my money travelling to Japan. I would rather travel somewhere else such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong etc.. Also, I would rather eat South East Asian foods than Japanese foods.
