I am really sorry guys but honestly Crystal Palace deserved more. In some of the categories You included Aldi which is in Anerly for retail and skipped all the amazing schools nearby? Crystal Palace itself as a neighbourhood doesn’t exist. It is a conglomerate of neighbouring areas like Anerly, Upper Norwood, West Dulwich, Sydenham etc. All considered Crystal Palace because is close to the park. I understand there is a lot to be done here but it deserved a better score!

I agree Caria. The Times recently voted Crystal Palace as the best place to live in London. The transport links in particular deserved at least an 8/10 given it's just 20 minutes to the Jubilee line via the overground and 30 minutes to London Bridge and London Victoria. You can even catch a number 3 bus direct to Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall. Why they give it a 5/10 for transport and a 36 overall is anyone's guess.

I agree, even thogh I dont live there now. I used to live in South Norwood and then Anerley and went to school in Spurgeons Road U Norwood... I used to go out at night in CP and its a great place to live. I used to walk alone at night down from the main junction all the way down the hill to Anerly to Brikbeck station and the road I lived in. Not saying you could do that now...but I haave always liked CP! Its city links are fabulous and you can get to Streatham and Brixton, West Dulwich , Sydneham and Corydon easy peasy! and within a reasonable time whether by train bus or mmm vehicle ..the latter now I am not so sure :) But you know what I mean
