@@brenpgrace Hi Bren new subscriber, I was happy to hear that I am not the only one who likes winter a lot more then summer! Whenever fall comes around my spirits always seem lifted and when people ask me why I like winter so much I tell them during the summer you can only take so much off and still be sweaty but during winter you can always pile clothes on and get warm. My 2nd husband who is also an Irishman is almost 20 years sober from alcohol and pain killers. He hit bottom when he died and EMT'S brought him back that was when he knew he was done and he changed his life around completely. Please remember we find peace and happiness from within ourselves not from what we may or may not have! Stay strong and take one day at a time and you will get there I know you will! God Bless You.

I’m in recovery too. Celebrated 15 years in November. So I feel you so much. The realization that gave me escape velocity is that addiction is like schizophrenia. It’s a little voice in your head that lies to you and says whatever it takes to make you fail. Once I learned isolate that voice, I was able to ignore it, kind of like a schizophrenic lives with imagined people and must learn to identify and ignore them.

Amen to the winter brother. I lived in my car at Walmart for 2 years down here in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Winter time you sleep deep and like an exhausted baby, summer time- miserable utterly miserable. People who've never experienced living in their car simply can't know or understand: they think that logically it's better to sleep in your car in the summer time - WRONG.

Enjoyed this Q&A. I didn't realize how much I've already learned about you in the few videos I've watched since subscribing. 😊 I'm the opposite of you when it comes to loving temperatures. I prefer it to be warm because I can cool down, but can't stand cold. I never seem to be able to warm up. 🥶 Cracked up at the "fellas" in the lounge! 🤣🤣 I love your sense of humor. Lastly, I've been a Christian pretty much all my life. The way you talk about your relationship with God lines up with my experience. I love that you put into words exactly how I feel. Sometimes, the way you nail it is a great reminder that increases my gratitude and joy when I think about the truth of how God operates in my own life and circumstances 🤗🙌🏿🙌🏿 Tracey from San Diego, California

There are many golden bits related to your channel. I’ll pick one. Your attention to detail sets a good example for your viewers. The way you organize your car is outstanding. The favorite of mine, though, is how you document your finances, take what you earn, and allocate specific amounts to car expenses, food, etc. Keeping your records in such detail is so helpful towards peace of mind. You’re doing great. Best wishes.

Do you mention you are “a Quaker” because you feel that gives you a type of moral street cred? This is an honest question- not a diss. It just seems weird. I can’t imagine someone saying “I am Baptist from Canada” before a comment unless I feel I am of a higher moral ground- which is not very Quaker of you. Just saying.

I'm 51. Starting drinking heavy at 14 yrs old in the 80s. Drank every weekend right thru high school/college (where I played D1 soccer) and into the corporate work force. Talking drinking until I would black out on my couch asleep. Now, granted, I never missed a day of work or anything like that. Weekend thing for me. But at 36 almost died of a clogged artery. Fortuntely I had pain (most don't and die) so we caught it. Haven't had a sip in 15 years since. I GUESS YOU CAN SAY GOD SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!

I’m loving all these videos, binge watching and astonished how quickly your subscriber count is growing. KZfaq is not easy. I have some really cool videos on my channel but building that sub count is the hardest thing I’ve ever tried to do. Keep up the great content. Whatever you’re doing right, it’s working.
