Hey there, I just finished watching your Robbed/Replacing items stolen video. I thought I would jump forward and suggest LED lights as a replacement for the standard lightbulbs in your overhead. You mentioned that you have almost stranded yourself (me too) because they were left on over night. LED lights will 1/10 the power of incandescent bulbs. No dead battery in the morning. Go to any big auto parts store and they will have them. Takes five minutes to replace them. BTW, I’m now a follower. Got some catching up to do now as there are lots of vids I haven’t seen. Sleep tight.

Michigan is pretty awesome. We just went to Holland, MI this past weekend and had a blast. Usually we are in the upper part of Michigan so this was a little different and definitely more densely populated than we were used to.

Welcome home! Like that Blue got his own ticket & Rue got to go on a boat ride too. Years ago my mom & I took the Badger from MI to WI & back just for fun. During the passage seeing nothing but water in every direction it was like being on an ocean cruise. Lake Express is faster than the Badger plus you land closer to Grand Rapids which from previous vlogs think is near your home turf. But I gotta ask, why does Blue, the best behaved doggie in the world, appear to be wearing a pinch collar? Thanks for representin' Michigan!

I'm glad you had an uneventful and mostly pleasant trip. MIne was the polar opposite. I took the LE across last year from Milwaukee to Muskegon one day after a big storm blew through but the lake was still unsettled.,during what they said would be 8 or 9 foot swells,. They did warn people it would be a rough crossing and offered everyone refunds multiple times but I don't think anyone took them up on the offer and it was a mostly full ship. (and like you I was parked along the bulkhead at the very front corner being directed back n forth etc which is a bit nerve racking.). The incoming ferry was an hour late due to a rough crossing from E to W and had to slow down a bit . They stated prior to departure they weren't going to serve food or drinks as the crossing would be too rough for that.(Very sinking of the edmund fitzgeraldish, "it's too rough to feed ya") I was talking to a Navy Vet who was crossing who said "eh don't about the high waves the ship is 100 feet long and shouldn't have any trouble making the crossing. So starting out on a clear sunset evening with the Milwaukee skyline in the background was nice and about 1 hour or so late off we went. Word to the wise , if you're on top as the ship makes it's way out of the harbor taking video or pics , it suddenly guns it during a fast turn. I got tossed almost to the deck as I was walking across the top of the ship not expecting such a violent turn/jump to high speed maneuver. So grab the rail and hold tight if you are up there. I had to force myself to the side of the ship and work my way along the railing to get to the down staircase but made it just before we hit open water and the waves crashed over the bow soaking the remaining folks on the upper deck.. Getting out of Milwaukee harbor was fine but as soon as they made the turn into the lake it was almost like half the passengers turned pale and green and they all regretted not opting for a refund... It was an absolute puke fest the entire way across, the crew was very very concerned for the passenger' s condition and did start handing out ginger ale and extra vomit bags.., I'd never seen so many people hurling on a ferry all at once. The waves must have been higher than they expected. The restrooms were essentially unusable as the walls and floors were coated with vomit and you couldn't stand up on the boat to get to the restrooms anyway as you were immediately tossed hither the yon into the aisle if you attempted to move about the ship/boat (it's only 110 feet long). Up down , sideways the ship went, punching bow first into waves that blew over the top of the decks. It was a crazy night trip that I'll never forget. First and last time for that boat for me. If I had to do it again I'd take the badger or just plan on driving , it's a bit slower and depending on where you're going out of the way but at 400 feet it can handle big swells much better..than the LE can. I paid the extra $20 to be in the cabin with free wifi, and the upgraded restroom and that didn't work the whole trip, none of the in ship information boards worked plotting position etc. So it was just you and the sound of half the 100 or so so people on board upchucking or moaning trying not to puke for about 4 hours. But you're right much of Michigan is very scenic.

Wow, I've ridden many car ferries in my life and I have never seen a ship crew literally jack and slide a car into place for a tight fit on the deck. I guess they also need to increase ridership and profits with these ultra high fuel prices these days.

So, let me get this straight. For about $300, you shaved off about 3 hours drive time, minus the time you spent checking in and waiting to disembark the ferry which I figure to be about an hour. You also save about $100 in gas and tolls, I imagine. It seems to cost about $200 to save two hours in travel.

I've been checking out your content and so far I only have one ask. Please don't use the word vlog ever again, lol. It sounds kinda silly and doesn't really reflect what you're doing out there. You're basically running a television show and you produce episodes. I guess in my mind a 13 year old girl talking about her crush has a vlog but a grown woman who makes content for a living has a show that makes episodes. Probably not a huge deal but I had to say it.
