The Interstate 15 corridor between Butte and the Idaho border will take you on a 120 mile journey through only 3 "towns". Wide open ranch land and very small towns make up this part of Montana. Real estate in this area is more affordable than it is in other parts of Montana.

I've been on that road. After breaking down in my semi north of Missoula MT I learned that its extremely difficult to get someone to come out and help you. Even when the so called help advertises 24 hour road service. Its a good idea to have a lot of family and friends to help you because you can't depend on the services that are fausly advertised.

Dillon is a nice little college town with good schools right up to university level, good medical facilities, great fishing and hunting, little traffic, lots of sunshine.

Such a beautiful and majestic state I'd love working a ranch would be a dream come true I've always been a loner in my life and open country is a calling for me, if you can help me relocate I'm ready to move, the company I'm with is closing up after 11 years with them and I contracted in the home, commercial and farming the 30 plus years prior in Tennessee and Georgia! Country Boys can survive

If you tell people there's open space and a small population of people there it might not be like that in the future 😆. If it wasn't for the brutal winters I think more people would move there.
