We use to live in Tempe but left in 1993 man it has sure changed alot. We came back to the Midwest. But i do miss it. Enjoying your video

Hi David Peoria is close to Tempe and Glendale and surprise but I love Gilbert

Tempe is actually pretty central to both Gilbert (in the east) and Glendale (in the west). Surprise is located actually pretty far from Tempe in the NW corner of the Phoenix metro.

I 've seen several vids on YT of the Phoenix area. Many places d.town Phoenix appear deserted. Not sure if it's the time of year, temps. too extreme, or residents just stay indoors most of the time? Tempe seems also fairly deserted; no foot traffic along the waterfront, near the condos, no one on trail. It's almost ghost town atmosphere or everyone just wants to be in air conditioning and shade??

summertime is like wintertime up north... you definitely stay INDOORS during the day with the A/C on... October-April is the ideal time to live in the Phoenix area. Yep! It’s about a 35 minute drive from Tempe when there isn’t rush hour traffic.

Are there small rental homes/subdivisions on N side of Tempe. Son may be relocating and working in N Scottsdale hotel but wife in Tempe so looking halfway. 40 yrs no kids

It’s a Jeep Grand Cherokee with ceramic tinted windows (for the summer heat). Definitely a nice upgrade to have the special window tint that blocks the extreme sun in summer.

Tempe is actually really nice to live in! It has some much older neighbourhoods compared to new(er) construction in Chandler or Gilbert, but location wise is incredible!
