This latest vlog is a look at what it is really like to live in Thailand in 2021. It is basically my most frequently asked questions about life in Thailand and what it is like for an Expat living here. I am chasing dreams of being a full time KZfaqr here in 2021 and I often get asked the same questions, so today I share my thoughts on my decision to live here in Thailand. I have lived in Bangkok, Pattaya and now am in Chiang Mai.

@@genokemp2433 I planned for september too - thot will do 2 weeks in Phuket and then I was gonna go to BKK-but now it doesnt make sense to me cos BKK is totally shut and no one wud be there to even meet cos everyonez staying home! Maybe if you have no work n just chill maybe you can in phuket but my connections there still said its tough to get out of Phuket after those 2 weeks.....but seems like Adam here has been moving around -Thanks for the tips in your Vlogs Adam..keep it coming! Living the dream!! I’m hoping to get onboard with this sort of lifestyle if covid ever gets out the way! South Korea or Thailand definitely top choices so interesting hearing your views, & especially how SK does have issues with English which has been a concern

Takes time though. By the time I left Korea I was quite good, it is a long process. Learning small words and phrases is a great way to start, but becoming fluent in a language takes a long time.

Great channel. Really like your videos. Pretty sure your channel will grow big soon. Keep it up. Can't wait till I get vaccinated (scheduled for October) so I can travel. Been stuck in Isaan pretty much since covid began really, especially this year. Isaan has it's beauty, especially the people, but you do get bored of the place after a while, and start longing for some more fun down south, but I'm not going to complain, it could've been much worse. It's like you said, I'd rather be in Thailand than probably most other countries.

Appreciate your relaxed straight forward approach- not all the manic energy and hype of a lot of young males doing similar videos. I adore Thailand as a place to visit which i've done for 3 months but high heat and humidity is a deterrent for much of the year, and burning season Jan-Mar in CM! Love the videos Adam! I have an online business and I'm looking to come to Asia, preferably Thailand in October/November. With the Visas, I've read you can get the 3 month visa twice, allowing for 9 months in total. After that time is up what are the options for staying longer? Cheers man!

Currently there are 30 day tourist visas that you can renew every 30 days until countries open to be able to do border runs. But there is no end date on that, so it could change. If you want to stay here, there is always a way. Other options are student visa or Muay Thai visa, I have met people that stay on them too.

STV is the best option at the moment, it is up to 9 months before you need to change.

You can do it quite similarly. The only thing eating out in Thailand is much cheaper for better quality. You can get cheap meals from convenience stores and street food, but Thailand’s restaurants are crazy cheap.

KZfaq doesn’t like it, because some people use it in a negative way or something like that, that’s why you will hear KZfaqrs dance around that word with things like “the situation” etc haha

What equipment do you use?

For that video I used a Canon m50 with a Sigma 16mm 1.4 Lens. Usually I use a GoPro hero 9, but also have a 6 and 7. I use a Rode external mic on all.

What is your monthly budget if you dont mind asking? Otherwise if not would you say $1700/month is enough for everythng for a single guy in his later 20's who eats a crap ton of meat (makro im thinking)?

USD? 1700 is plenty, that is more than I live off, and I have been traveling, dating, drinking, eating great food, renting a nice apartment etc.

When you go to Countries like THAILAND or Philippines or other places do not look at the money like its there currency look at it like its in your money like O that only comes to be like $0.20c in your money that is how you start to spend more then you would as you look at it in away well its dollar is much more then there is and you start to spend more so all ways look at it in your currency

I wouldn't leave in Thailand for a better life not because of presidencies or governments but for me lately I've been feeling all stressed of what I've been hearing from social media about from celebrity life and racism crazy celebrities doing stupid stuff that stressed me out for months but when I was doing some meditation from the Buddhism it helps me get rid of my fears and my negative thoughts so I read that in Thailand they have Buddhism you just do your meditation close your eyes and forget about your fears and stress and it worked and I think I find Thailand more amusing it's more peaceful more quiet yeah the people are nice I love the language But my point is I want to start my new life in Thailand where I belong to stop feeling all stressed and negative

You could live for $1000/month USD if you wanted to live a basic life. $1500 per month is quite comfortable, you can eat out for all your meals, drink and socialise a couple times a week 😊

Tough call, very different experiences. I loved every minute of living in Korea and made a lot of friends there that I really miss. But so far I am having a lot of fun here!!
