On a different note, I wonder if they love foreigners, it could be that they are in it just for the money? I am purely guessing, though. Getting residency in Paraguay is less expensive than you might think. You need to plan on 3-4K for the legal help and fees. Plus you will need to put 5K U.S. in a Paraguay bank. The reason it is 5K is that is the average income in Paraguay. You will need to travel there once or twice so you will have travel expenses as well. I have looked into other residency programs and I have not found any that are more straight forward to accomplish.

Paraguay is like the Philippines. I'm from Iloilo City in the Philippines, and my city looks like in Paraguay because the Philippines was also colonized by Spain. The first time I saw your video I was really surprised, I immediately felt like I was in my own City of Iloilo. I immediately felt at home. Paraguay and the Philippines are so similar. Unless you speak fluent Spanish and want to spend a lot of time figuring it out I recommend using a local attorney. The one I used is Geronimo Finestra. His prices were disclosed up front and I thought were fair. I know it was cheaper when I did it years ago but he is still not bad. His website is paraguayresidency.com He can get you all you need along with the requirements.

@thomasmietzel57306 жыл бұрын
I never checked on Dental work. Western style hotels vary from $60 to $200 per night, depending on where you are. Cheaper further out. Those are the downtown rates and the rates closer to the airport. The average person in Paraguay makes 5-6k US per year. If you want to live there style apartments can be cheap. If you want something nicer the sky is the limit. Something nice is going to set you back 1k per month or more. Tom

Here is his website: www.paraguayresidency.com/finestra-lawyers-paraguay.phpOnce you have residency you can get a Cedula which allows you to work.
