Then we go on another crab hunt, this time for the much larger coconut crabs. We do our best to prepare and cook them as the locals have for so many years.

Been telling you all along, you guys are the best channel on the Tube. I don't get why folks don't subscribe more. Best underwater shots in shallow water so WE get all the colors and diversity. Narration is always so professional and great background music. You guys are the best. You inspire this older gentleman to at least try and get out more and stop using my physical limitations as an excuse to live like a recluse. Can't agree more! KZfaq must be Shadow Banning this channel I have seen some bad sailing channels and I'm shocked to see they have more subs! I just can't handle the fact that the Sub numbers are not increasing!

Brian/Kazza, Fabio/Kristen I know, Who is the fourth couple? With kids too? Fun beach party. Warren, I love your narration. You, Brian, Ben on Nahoa, you all have easy to listen to voices and your narrations are smooth and natural. If you are reading a script, you sound as if you are not. Thank you so much. Yeah we absolutely had to show how the anchor drops especially in this clear water it was so easy not to. I mean relatively easy to anchor the boat by myself while Erica in the water trying to get the shot too. hahah

Synaptidae - WOW! Brand new to me. Would never have guessed sea cucumber. Looks sorta similar to a polychaete worm, an annelid. I always liked night dives for the same reasons. Thanks for those clips. Not many people do night dives. I love your vids!

Coming from Seattle, Brian should know the right way to boil crabs. 🦀 Here in the NW / Puget Sound we break the backs off, clean, then boil. The meat stays sweet, white and super clean. Boiling with the bellies, they are far too dirty with the innards intact. ;)

I have entered a catatonic discombobulation between humour and tree hugging.. culturally, I've not made amends with capital punishment, but I now think Americans are a 'touch' meaner.. I can say that, because I spent formative years over there and arriving in UK just in time to hear Brits tell the NASA jokes(Need Another Seven Astronauts) which horrified me, I always thought the Brits were in front, but now.... One thing that's definitely changed from the old times of watching Delos was the only people Brian got to have fun with were pretty much on his boat. Now, the sailing community is much larger. I would think that Coconut Crabs in the very popular French Polynesian Islands would be threatened if they were gathered much by the sailing community because the sailing community is so large now. I'm curious, but in California we have a certain time of year where you can't eat shellfish, red tide thing apparently. Does that happen in French Polynesia with shell fish from the sea ? And, I suppose it wouldn't happen with land based Coconut crabs ?

I cant afford anything even a shit car so sorry i cant help any way but as mentioned. I totally relate to your love of beach ocean having slept hearing waves growing up, i couldnt sleep when left home. Tryed many cds, water & music, none worked, or still today. It is funny to see people climbing trees or riding scooters in a 3rd world country and other such risky behaviour days from a hospital . We are so accustomed to instant emergency care we forget there is no help for something a head injury in these places .
