Living Next Door To Alice Smokie cover Sarah Collins
This song was originally released by Australian pop band New World in 1972 and then received worldwide success when Bradford band Smokie released it in 1976.
Being a Bradford girl, I just had to cover this fun song by the fabulous band Smokie. Hope it gets you singing along!

Smokie recorded some wonderful songs, many written by Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, who were also writing for many other artists at the time including The Sweet, Living Next Door To Alice is probably Smokies best known song, although I could reel off many super songs including Something's Making Me Blue and Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone. As Philly mentioned Chris Norman, had a successful solo career, especially in Germany and had a successful duet with Suzi Quattro Stumblin In. Sarah you did a super version of this timeless classic, very well done. X

Lovely song Sarah, 1976 By Smokey, Chris Norman Had a great career as a solo artist and with Smokey. He did a great duet with Susie Quatro, Stumbling In. I do believe he is still performing. Love your rendition Sarah great performance..❤❤❤. Philly D 👍

I think Chris Norman has a great voice and Smokie really did make some great records, maybe check out a greatest hits or a best of Smokie. I know it's your music that is to be the main focus here so please let me know if me talking about my DonToons to you is something you don't want me to talk about i understand it's just when I first came across you I thought hey this is one Beautiful young lady and then to hear your Beautiful voice well I just liked you right away and you speaking about liking art also well I like you even more but I don't want to bother you with my DonToons, please can I share this about my DonToons and that's I paint 100 pumpkins at Halloween and then I can't count how many Christmas bulbs I paint but please just tell me if I talk about my stuff too much, sure like to get a autograph picture or a sweatshirt with you on it cause believe me my friend I've grown to be a fan just that quick.
