Donna here,I discovered your channel not too long ago,and while I love the leaf peeping and New England vibe, this really resonates with me. I was born in Nurnberg ( where the trials were) Germany and haven't been there in 40 years or so. There is nothing else like a European city, while each has its own feel, you know you are in Europe. If you have never been, its hard to explain to people. I haven't been everywhere in the states, but the closest thing here that I have experienced is New Orleans in the French Quarter. Thank you for letting us come with!

Agreed. Even going to Quebec which is kind of like Europe in general can't compare with places such as amsterdam, Ghent and Brugges in Belgium. Love Europe splendor like nowhere else IMO.

A beautiful and surprising report of your trip to the Netherlands and France. The nice thing is that I always follow your 'Trout en Coffee' closely and you were actually less than 18 miles away from my hometown in Amsterdam. As soon as I saw that thumbnail photo I said, "they went to Amsterdam!" 😄 Yes, European cities have a different feel. I lived in Germany for 3 years a couple of decades ago and the whole European vibe in general is different. So glad you were able to get away and recharge your creative batteries!

Loved this I'm an old England girl..... So Paris is a quick flight for me from Devon.. I love it.. Had. Honeymoon there in the spring of 1991. sadly lost the love of. My life 1998 he was just 46.😢.... But we will always have Paris " you two LOVE ONE ANOTHER .always ... ❤️🙏❤️rip Mike

A nice complimentary video done darned good. Having visited A-Dam over 20 times, the spectacle never gets old. But, you've merely scratched the surface. Trains to Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam and beyond to Belgium opens up a fariy tale journey to really old and beautiful architecture.... love the Dutch people as they're speak frankly. Thanks for memories that I renew almost yearly.

That was so nice to see the country I was born in through your lens ! It brings memories that were buried since so long ago ... I have liked going with you all to Amsterdam and Paris; Yes, this is vital to travel to understand the world and see that everywhere on this earth you find beauty and kindness . Try to continue discovering Europe, the eastern countries rich in history and architecture, the North with Sweden, the South with Greece and the Mediterranean... The funny thing is that I was the one spending New Year in the Appalachian mountains, in a hidden place with a fireplace while it was heavily snowing outside ! Happy New Year to you !

So happy for you four to branch out to Paris. I did just the opposite and spent 23 years working as an RN and raising my two boys. At age 50 I began seeing the world starting with Peru and Paris- twice in the Christmas & New Years- MAGICAL🤗🙏🏼💙🥰❣️❣️❣️

Wow, a vlog of you in my favorite city Amsterdam, where I lived for 35 years, and Paris, a city that never is boring. Other cities I like are NYC, San Francisco, Berlin, Stockholm, and Sydney. Nice to see many well-known spots and locations. All the best for 2024.

A lot of the scenery takes me back to the days of being back in my hometown of San Francisco, California and the fond memories that I had with my closet friend's. However, I would love to one day take a trip of my own to Paris, France 🇫🇷 and see many of the beautiful site's that you saw as well. Hallelujah!!🎉Nothing like traveling Europe while you are young….first time over was 1971 with the travel book “ Europe on $5 a Day!!!😂😂 a lifetime of special miles and enchanting destinations and I would do it all over again….now at 76 and major illnesses finding a landing spot…I have a treasure of memories to fill my heart!!! Keep on traveling…it is a huge world out there!! ❤❤❤

Wonderful post Kyle and Ally. Thanks!! I noticed how some buildings in Amsterdam are leaning and researched that is due to centuries of settling on wooden piers! I wonder if over time they made adjustments to floors inside to compensate for the tilt.

I always thought it would be great to rent a canal boat and travel the canals across Europe or England. I want to go north and explore the Erie canal and take a ride on it. Great video and thanks for the tour.

Looks like a fun trip! Amsterdam has been a favorite since I first visited in 1994. So many hidden treasures found in the tiny streets off the beaten path.

France is apart of my history and I would love to see it in the spring time, I've been to Italy and Germany but not France and Switzerland, love to go there . Look like you had a wonderful time, even in the rain. Raining in Europe in the winter, some snow but alot of rain.

Strange to see you suddenly in my home country. Hopefully, you've had a nice time in Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. At least you've had the full experience with typical Dutch weather. However, you weren't quite prepared for such weather like true Dutchies. You've had a bit of bad luck; we've had a very poor autumn, and the winter hasn't been great either.
