As my little baby boy gets older, I've realized that some of the decor pieces I had in the past might not work anymore due to safety. In this video I go through how I adapted to my newer lifestyle with a walking and exploring baby while still loving the style of my home. So smart to baby safe your home. He will need things to play with or else he plays with things he shouldn’t. The way you put his things on the shelf is so good! He will learn his shelf and yours! When my family built our house, we added slide out baby/pet gates (think pocket door) so they match the room and are super easy to hide when not in use. They’ve been great!

Fia Garcia DIY been thinking on this: decorative pillows to safely add pattern and texture, fun wall shelves so you can safely change up decor from time to time, and I have also found myself having more fun with actual colors- I got a green ottoman last year. So just less Knick knack decor which means finding other ways of adding interest. Hope this helps someone! 😊

I love love your videos and your ideas and I super love the fact that they are easy to do and my most favorite part of all the videos is that they are all budget friendly. Thank you for that. However I am by no means a critic but I’ve noticed that in several of your videos that you say if you can do it anyone can do it. I hate to even say anything but you may want to rephrase that one little saying as not everyone CAN do certain things and when you say that it can make some feel inadequate when they try and try and can’t get it. Please don’t take this wrong because I by no means want to offend you or any of your viewers I am only even mentioning it only because I struggle with self doubt and self worthlessness and feel inadequate most days. And your videos always bring a smile to my face so by no means am I saying your wrong just maybe reword that one thing. Even maybe say easy peasy or easy as 1-2-3. Lol. Thank you again for your ideas
