Love your demeanor and videos. Thank you. I just purchased a 2021 6spd M2C in Hockenheim Silver and it is fantastic! It is a pleasure to drive around California’s coast and mountains! Exhilarating! A great daily driver and dream drive. Also it is perfect alone, for my wife and our family. Simply great!

Hey Dominic, i too just got a 21 Hock silver M2C manual. live in the desert in So Cal. did a Nor Cal mountain loop over its first two weeks (mostly to break it in). looking forward to some LA county coastal / mountain fun… struggled with the color decision for months prior to ordering and never actually saw Hockenheim silver, let alone an M2C until i picked mine up in Bakersfield, love the color in person as photos did not represent it for what it is (imo). have fun!

Such a pleasure watching your videos. My wife would like BMW to add an option that you might not understand in Sweden. We call it a “Jesus strap.” It’s a handle above the passenger window for the passenger to hold on to when cornering or they get nervous. We call it a Jesus strap because the passenger often says “oh Jesus!” when putting the car thru its paces. Thanks again. Great video.

I sold a newer Caymen S - a car I was in love with. It was great for 1/2 hr to 1 hr drives but after that both me and my passenger had very sore backs. For this reason and also for the reason that I considered the Porsche more of a Sunday car (5K miles in 3 years) I really was not enjoying it. Walla I was lucky @ my large BMW dealer looking for a M240 - a black on black like in your video came in the night before and after waiting 7 months for it the person ordering it cancelled - It took me all of 5 min on a test drive to know this was such a great car. For me - maybe the perfect car if you love performance. My 8th BMW - 135 - numerous 330-335's and a M4 this one is the real deal. And great as a car I personally feel better about driving off and on with my SUV depending on my mood. Fast / comfortable / sexy as hell / I am in love with the M2 C.

Everyone hates the sunroof, but I agree with you. The car has a very dark interior and any extra light in there is appreciated. Honestly I don’t think anyone would actually be able to feel the extra few lbs the sunroof adds. I also have the orange stitching, which I think further brightens up the cabin a tiny bit.

mine is 2 weeks old and now 2k miles, mostly to get the 1200 mile break-in miles over with. absolutely love it.

consumption wise, manual gearbox makes more revs and hence consumes more fuel than DCT one

exacty what I was going to say haha - the DCT helps a lot with fuel consumption. But I think in an ironic way the factory S55 set up also helps a little with the sacrifice of the godly N55 roar of course...

Just drove mine 1550 miles in 2 days. The only negative is the tank size other wise the car handle great.

I have a 440i GranCoupe with the B58 and average almost the same numbers, although the roads in Romania are not very helpful 😁 What's the weight of your M2 Comp in the swedish registration certificate? Also had contact with the B48 on a G20 and in Bucharest both engines have the same fuel consumption, did you felt any performance difference from the fuel in so many countries? I also plan to do a road trip to the Netherlands in the summer with the car 😁 Have fun with it and enjoy it!

some people like chris harris say that the feeling you get is the wheel is not that good, disconected from the road, compared to an old e46 for example, you agree?

it's better in every single way compared to an e46. If you mean an M3 E46 then I don't know, as I haven't driven that car

The consumption of your road trip to Romania is interesting 9L/100km M2C 410HP 8/100km M2 370HP My 1500km roadtrip with BMW's smallest engine 218I (136HP) I managed: 7,7L/100km (with my new service I think I can get to 7,4L max) - Normal driving mostly. So the difference doesn't seem to be that crazy for long runs.

Didn't I say the LCi was worse on fuel? Because that was the case. But yes, on long runs it's not bad on fuel at all. I remember a few years back when I had a 320d xdrive, that also ate up around 7.5

Which is preferred : M2 Comp or Base cayman 718 ? And for me, It does not matter 4 seaters or 2 seaters. Thanks in advance. BTW , I always enjoy all your videos and keep it up.

I haven't driven the base 718 so I can't say which one I would prefer. I have driven a Boxster T however and I liked that car quite a lot. But it's quite hard to compare a 300hp car vs a 410hp one as they offer quite different driving experiences. The 718 is much more of a drivers car even though it only has a 4 cylinder.

Nice video. I had a M2 Lci which I sold a year ago, planning to buy a M2 comp next year. How do you find the ride quality compared to the M2 Lci?

There’s no difference, honestly. As there really is nothing different suspension wise

The lifting sensation would have depended on wind direction and speed in the 2 separate occasions

550km out of a tank doesn't seem right, thats almost 350 miles! You'd need to average 30mpg + for the full tank! I can barely get 26!

I said 500-550. With an average of 9l/100km, 500km is quite easy to achieve. I've seen people average as low as 8l/100km

@@TunedIntoCars Its hard to get below 10/100 in my opinion. Atm im at 10,2 and with the colder weather it seems to be going up a little bit. During the summer i used it for car vacation and if you use the cruise control for long range driving you can get below 10/100 but only barely (9,8).
