Before I was diagnosed with my pain condition, I was on track to be my class’ valedictorian. I lost my placing after diagnosis, but thanks to accommodations, I graduated as the salutatorian. It was so rough, but support means the world for people with chronic illness💛

I’m in high school living with multiple chronic illnesses. I started using my cane this week for my chronic pain. It been okay, but today I heard a few people talking shit, and a girl who gave me this look of utter disgust. It’s just so hard
