Proud owner of a Fiesta ST. It’s so nice to drive this car in Umbria’s roads (Italy)

I’ve had my fiesta st since new for over 5 years now. All stock except for wheels/tires and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I had a fiesta for about a year that I modified pretty heavily from a handling and braking aspect. Minor tuning tweaks but stuck with the stock turbo. It was by far the best raw driving cars (within a reasonable normal person's budget). That's over many other cars I've owned, ND2 RF Miata, GTI, Focus ST, many mustangs and other stuff. I loved it. Kind of still do but in time the glaringly bad and cheap interior quality and space played a tole on me so I went back to the only car I've ever owned that had close to the same drivers charm as the Fiesta but also blended a quality, comfortable and actually pretty luxurious interior. A F56 Mini Cooper S. My first one was a 2017 with the old 6 speed auto and now a 2021 with the phenomenally good 7 speed dual clutch. If I had the budget I would keep both but used as a daily driver and fun car the Mini checked more boxes. While they are priced slightly higher than a Fiesta ST, a F56 Cooper S is one of the best hot hatch bargains available right now. The old ones have a bad reputation but the 2015 + with the 2.0 turbo engines are bullet proof.

Im a woodworker that drives a fiesta st and I use mind to pick up lumber multiple times a week. I love pulling in the parking lot amongst all the big work trucks and loading up my lumber. I agree with the pedal position flaw. With size 13 shoes I do accidentally press both pedals at the same time

I deliver construction supplies (with a truck, lol). One day I was sitting outside a construction site I just delivered to at the end of the day. I had to wait for a long line of pick up trucks to leave this off road construction site. Then, in the middle of the line of trucks is a FiST. It was so cool because most people that work construction dont actually need a truck to carry their tools, they just have to fit in.

@@brandoncontrerashernandez7888 I too am a 13 shoe and the clutch never seems to be an issue but every once in a while when hitting the gas my foot will brush against the brake pedal as well. But I've gotten used to making sure my foot is all the way right up against the carpet when pushing the gas

Plus side - super fun, actually quite fast under like 60 mph where you spend most of your time accelerating, holds a lot of gear and a good car for bashing around -super stiff ride, after time the rough ride means things do creak rattle and highway noise is loud

I was really surprised by how fast it felt around town, great torque too.

Mine is a '17. They revised the suspension. Softer springs, stiffer roll bars. It still doesn't ride like a Cadillac, but it's tolerable, and I've driven it from inner cities to 4000 mile highway trips. The key to a good ride is to go fast.

I'm 5'11" and I fit fine in the back seats of my Fiesta ST just fine with the front seats in the position where I would sit while driving. But his car has the base interior and mine has the Recaros, so maybe the knee holes in the back of the Recaros are deeper.

I've also wanted to own my dream car which was a Evo 7 GSR, I got that wish back in 2016 purchased one for 22,000aud only to find rust holes in the bottom of the floor pan. Sold the car took my loses and purchased a brand new 17'' 3 door ST, it's now on a stage 2 tune 230hp such a great little car not as quick as the EVO but very similar driving experience.

I bought me a 2016 fiesta st march 1st I absolutely love every second I’m in it. The only complaint I have thus far is the door/roof jam column by the mirror creates a helluva blind spot especially if you have rain guards. Other than that love love love

@@BuzzytheBlue Bought my '17 new, and I'll never sell it. The only thing I changed was the tires, maintenance-wise. I'm making 210/276 at the wheels, with an intercooler and intake, and it's a boss at freeway speeds. It can hang with a surprising number of cars.

I drive my Fiesta for DoorDash and put around 300 miles a day on it…the only thing I dislike about the car is the driver’s seat! I’m 6’2’’ and the seat is extremely uncomfortable for someone my size. On the other side, I’m a lifetime racer and OH BOY IS IT FUN TRO DRIVE! Insane cornering and super fun acceleration!

@@bryankile9805 I got lucky, I bought my FiST in Canada and they all have Recaro seats as standard (I guess the stock seats don’t have seat warmers?). My only issue with the seating position is that the center console is way too short/low for shorter people, I wish it had an adjustable center console like the Mk7 GTI
