When pads come up for changing upgrade to Mintex M1144 front and rear. Awesome pads. Just be sure to lube the back of them when you fit them otherwise they squeal

I have the JCW 2017, really quick, I tend to give mine some stick, use the sport button a couple of times a week, I get 32-35mpg all day long, fuel is is sitting around £1.32. 27,3,19 Never put fifty quid in yet... Insurance is £242.00 per year, so good value

Not sure what fuel station you use but i never see £50 for a full tank with current low petrol prices and i use high octane fuel all the time! High £40's for me. Tesco Momentum is my go to fuel, Shell V Power is awesome and the car seems to run best on it but i can't justify the much higher price they ask. An occasional tank of V Power keeps me happy

Yeah that's fair enough, tend to use standard Shell unleaded with an occasional tank of V Power from time to time like yourself. £40 would do more like 3/4 of tank here in the North East but prices seem to vary a lot around the country I suppose. Paying around £1.20 a litre currently. Thanks for watching though!

I haven’t converted over the prices you pay in the UK for this vehicle but I know here in Canada, these JCW are not cheap by any means....my JCW that was just shipped here from the Oxford Plant cost me $52,344 CAD. My monthly insurance for this car is approx $170 per month and an average fill up of 94 octane is about $50 per 44Litre tank. Don’t get me wrong I love my 6spd manual mini but was kind of let down after I found out that Mini discontinued the Internal Hard Drive for storing your music this past year. I’ve had a 2012 Countryman, a 2016 Clubman and now a 2019 JCW and this is the first time I’ve been without a storable music library. Is it the same in the U.K?

Yeah ok so it sounds as if it pretty much costs you the same over there as it does here. The only real difference is on fuel because our fuel is taxed quite highly so for 44L it would cost around $85 CAD. But yeah when I say 'cheap' I don't mean literally cheap, because as you say these are certainly not cheap cars. However compared to rivals they can be had for a pretty good price. For example the 230hp Golf GTIs would be a lot more (not sure if you can still buy these) and same for the slightly more powerful i30N although that may be a better car. The thing over here is if it was someone's first year driving, literally the cheapest car to buy would still cost as much to insure for a year as this JCW does for me and I'm nearly at the end of my 2nd year of driving, so comparatively it's a pretty good deal. As for the internal storage I don't think we have this either, atleast not from what I've found. I suppose with so many people using Bluetooth etc they thought they could cut it out, must be a shame for you though. Thanks for watching though man!

You clearly don't drive it hard enough. I used to average 22mpg on my JCW. That's with sport mode always on. Got the GP3 on order.

All depends where you drive it though, flat out on back roads then yeah maybe, never had it that low myself though. Nice, will be interesting to see the specs when it's launched...
