It's so sad how all his old friends abandoned him when he needed them most. What a strong young lad to seek out help with the challenges he faces in his life now.

Really deplorable that his "friends" abandoned him after the accident. I hope George has more compassionate people in his life, and makes better friends in the future. He seems like a really charming fellow, so I think his future is bright.

baragouinify it's difficult to blame his friends because he is a completely different person and they were just young people who are probably traumatised by their friends change. I hope, like you he meets new friends that can relate to him.

I understand the abandonment from my marriage after 32 years however I was the fault for that she lost everything took enough about me its not my video all day I think to myself adapt to the world don't adapt the world to me. And is the reason I am out of my wheelchair and walking with cane sometimes without ok goodbye and pardon my presumptuous comment.

I understand what George is going through. My friends abandoned me too. I look normal to everyone who meets me. He is fortunate in the care he is given. It has been hard for me to get the care I need. I still need a lot of help with social skills and other things. I present so well, doctors just think I need counseling. My short term memory is very bad, and I don't remember new people names ever, and it take a very long time to remember their names, so I just say hey or hi to people I know and don't use names. :(

Mine was a pretty bad stroke in 2014 and I recognize so much of this in myself - Impressed with New Zealsnd support systems It's not uncommon for spouses to decide they can't cope with the changes and shove off. in my case, my wonderful wife died the year before, but I know she would have always been here for me if she possibly could have

Well done George. My grandaughter also was in a car crash. She was in hospital for 6 weeks and then Laura Ferguson Rehab centre for 2mths. We are lucky to have her in our lives still. It has been a year now and she has just turned 18. Her recovery has been a journey but every week has been a milestone. I hope your recovery has gone or is going well.

Life is unforgiving. I contrast this video with that of a mother who lost 3 children in a single car accident when a drunk driver killed her family. Though I have a modicum of sympathy for this person and his mates, I don't feel sorry for him. He's damn lucky his poor decision making and self-absorbed mentality did not result in the deaths of innocent people.

Makes me feel lucky I to have a mental age my personality is no good i can't socialise I had to do my year 4 again I can't smell see through my left eye at my side maths I can't do I av bad ears I was left in a coma I had a blood transfusion I had to b rushed back into the operation room because I had brain fluid leaking through my ears and noes the cut me ear to ear pulled my face faward glued up my ears n noes I had a afterlife dream premonition it was about me waking up in a brighten room like blinding bright and I was on a cold ass floor with no clothes on I was a new born at the same time being the 5 years old looking observing my self from the roof ceiling and there 3 ladies looking through the panel window on the door was waving at me I was screaming my heart out wondering why these 3 ladies were leaving me if they were waving at me I did this 3 times each time I died I realised now that they were waving at me not in the hopes of them being ill mannered or waving because they were coming to pick me up but rather they were waving good by because it wasn't my time yet I really also think that one of them were my grandmother in law seems strange I know but I'm almost 100,% on that one so yes I was 5 I was looking out the window which was full of algi and I was told to be careful because my twin was to be getting some pegs for a tent my cousin built so my cousin went telling me to b careful so I'm on the 3rd floor and there were a celler and celler steps on the outside and of course I was wondering if I did fall maybe I could be like dumbo lol yes I'm the dumbo and as quick as I thought that I fell head first on concrete steps I broke my skull open and I remember that when the brigade I think may be paramedic came to safe me they explained it as they had to pick up the glass so were making every effort to pick it up it wasn't glass they were picking up but my skull. I half recovered but I suffer with so many things I have fibromyalgia and 2017 they diagnosed me of a bilateral frontal lobe gliosis my brain is slowly dieing which both are diseases that r not curable I say things I forget in a split second I'm in constant pain I'm bedridden because I can't sit on my but as I feel as if my spine is crunching on me I'm 38 and use a mobility scooter so once was so independent with 1 child now I have 3 and from my first where I could sholder ride my son for great lengths I could dance for least 6 hours straight I was single I was so independent I could use a electric tree cutter thing and they stood least 15 feet from ground to sky and it took so much effort they were so overgrown maintenance hard u had to have a chair to stand on as well as have my both arms up in the air I was size 8 which is size 6 in USA size and I'm nothing like the pretty person on the outside in and even then I never fell nothing myself its hard to think highly of myself back in the day I was thin and never had a Inch of fat on me I was proud of that as I lost weight all my baby fat from b giving birth well I had a c section point is when u mum don't accept u u will find it hard to love and accept your self but dang I thought I hated myself then know I dispise myself I have 3 kids one who lives with his dad hec is 22 years and I have a 15 and a10 year old to my husband so it's hard when I only get 20 days out the year feeling ok
